great jukebox mixture of beers and a fairly busy place with a good atmosphere . staff are friendly and willing to advise on places to go , and places to eat.

Traditional pub almost opposite the Hippodrome Theatre containing posters and adverts for past performances. There is a small selection of bar food although we did not eat here. The real ales were well kept and enjoyable.
