Caffe Nero would be a favourite coffee of mine anyway but I liked this shop for the location also. Only a couple of minutes walk from the bustle of New Street and you can sit on a stool at the window and look out at the trees and lawn of the Cathedral Square.

Called in for breakfast on Sunday morning. Both had the toasted breakfast sandwich which was like cardboard with next to no filling. Poor!

I regularly visit the Caffe Nero on Waterloo Street when I'm in Birmingham as it's in a nice convenient location. The coffee and pastries are really good. Staff seem to be friendly and the service is always good; Erik in particular was really helpful and attentive last time.

If you want average here then go away. Great staff ...in great setting. The locals starting the day with us and the milling around of this wonderful city. It invites one and all to wander. Avoid being enraptured by the new street Station and its new-ness. Discover the real Birmingham and wander the old alleys the old vistas . Be... More

Cafe Nero is my favourite coffee shop with lots of different coffees and sandwich choices. The only downside is if the cafe is full and you have to sit near the door. There is a rush of cold air each time customers come in or leave!

We always use this cafe Nero when we stay in the premier inn opposite. However on this occasion things went bump! 3 times they had to remake my pot of porridge. It was just milk! Hubbies was fine!! Sort out your training please

Just next to the Cathedral , this is an excellent choice for a reviving coffee. The baristas produce coffee just how you want it . The cafe is warm, drought free and with plenty of seating, of all types to suit all . Great choice

First visit...I didn't realise it was there. Popped in early Saturday morning with my mum before meeting friends in the City Centre. Was clean and plenty of empty tables to choose from with with hard chairs or soft comfy armchairs...something other coffee places have sadly gotten rid of. Didn't have coffee, went for tea but the tea was piping hot... More
