Dull ambience, extremely slow service. My tea came in a large pot but with just one tea bag so it was very very weak. They gave me another tea bag when I asked, but then I had to ask for a teaspoon to stir it....More

Inside was quiet, just a handful of customers. Service was slow though, sandwiches been made possible for church service that was going on next door, as 2 trolleys were wheel out full of items on them. Unfortunately the first three sandwich items I tried to...More

Lovely place to pop in for a cuppa & bite to eat. Very reasonably priced. Some of the older staff are sullen & a bit grumpy but there is sometimes a delightful young man who serves. Worth a visit if you are in the city.

Popped in for tea and toast around 12:30 after visiting the craft fair upstairs. Unfortunately the tearoom had already run out of bread so I had an overpriced toasted teacake with six sultanas (I counted them) and a very average coffee served by an extremely...More

No nonsense, clean & tidy. Don't go here for charm, wit and personality of the shop staff, go here for good cuppa and clean toilet.

Three of us tried this cafe as a change from the many chains, and to support the beautiful church next door. The cafe had a strong local community hall feel, with many hard surfaces and roof rafters which created strong echo effect. There is a...More
