Love this place, great atmosphere, love their Ubu and hubby loves mad goose so we don't tend to try any of the other ales. Not eaten in here but food does look lovely. Snacks are overpriced though. We usually start in here on a night...More

The good lady, little man and myself fancied a Sunday lunch while in town so thought we would give this place a try. We walked in and we’re greeted and shown to a table promptly and politely. The venue it self is really nice with...More

Spotted the all day breakfast "special" and after reviewing the ever diminishing choices on the main menu, decided to give it a try. Not a lot to say about it really, other than to comment does less is more really work when it is an...More

The beer board showed an impressive range of beers BUT there was nothing to differentiate keg/cask. It gradually emerged that only 5 of the 20 or so beers were actually cask (half of the beer engines were duplicates) and several of those very ordinary but...More

Nice range of ales that are well kept. It is a posh 'spit and sawdust' type of place, with high wooden tables, in the heart of Birmingham, near the Council House and Town Hall. They also serve food.

Came here on the Friday as we have been here before but left disappointed this time. Beer was not good tasted a bit vinagery when mentioned to the barman he just walked off. Will give a miss next time in Birmingham.

This is a pub you go to for a refined drink, not to get hammered... although this did happen! I went with a few work colleagues for a get together and it is appears to very pretentious. However with the right company and the right...More

What a great bar to gather together a group before going on. In this case just across the road. Great line up of quality ales and reasonable wines by the glass. The interior is modern and even at 6pm there is a good atmosphere.
