The most traditional english pub I have ever been. Lots of beers, no waiters, small place inside and benches outside, big portions, reasonable prices and this very traditional english environment. I would prefer it to be cleaner, but its part of the tradition I guess!...More

Food served here till 7pm. 8 excellent real ales available. Plenty of room to relax. Needs more loos, only 1 female loo in the court yard open. No parking facilities, best come by bus, situated close to Millennium Point.

10 of us with 6 greyhounds descended on the beer garden on a Saturday lunchtime. I didn’t go inside at all but I ate the most delicious Hunters chicken burger at a very reasonable price. All of the party were happy with the food.

Fairly busy on our lunch time visit, but still quite chilled out inside. Relaxing music playing in back ground. 8 excellent real ales on offer. Food was available, but we were too busy to partake in this. Hopefully will be back before Xmas. Enjoyable visit.

Good choice of real ales but late on a Sunday very quiet so not much shifting which probably explained my average pint. Nothing wrong with it just not the usual tip top quality but my guess is this was a one off.
