I have been here many times,and food is very tasty and proper Indian taste. Cocktails are excellent service is great. I will recommend this place must try!

Booked this restaurant through open table after reading the excellent reviews. Then happened to walk past yesterday and noticed they are not displaying their hygiene rating!!! This is because their rating is 0. We decided to look into the 0 rating and it’s shocking.! The...health inspector has put the most damming report online that includes the word ‘vermin’. So we tried to cancel, you can’t do it through Open Table and the restaurant has charged us £50 for cancellation. Please read the damning reports before booking this awful restaurant. I can’t believe they’re open.More

Itihaas is a standout spot for Indian food in Birmingham. The staff are super welcoming and the atmosphere is cosy. The highlight for me was the Sunday thali , a delicious variety of dishes that offered a real taste of India. It’s a great place...for a tasty and satisfying meal. Highly recommendMore

Visited with colleagues on a business trip. The food was fantastic. We had a variety of dishes and all were great. Decor is also well done. Highly recommended.

Very little else was available on a Sunday night in this part of Birmingham, and my hotel did not do food. So I was pleased to find this place open and still serving food. Pleasant staff on arrival. As usual though, for most single diners,...I was seated where I would be least offensive to other diners - hidden away right next to the servers' workstation and food service lift to the kitchen:) The food was very good. A crispy Nairobi Chicken Samosa to start, followed by a delicious Lamb Hadi Wala Keema with lamb bone marrow. Good service and a reasonable bill at the end.More

Good friendly of menu information and lovely dishes for vegetable. It's just a bit dry and salt then all good dishes.

A superb experience. This has to be one of the best if not the best Indian restaurants in Birmingham. Very welcoming. Service was fast and attentive. One of the best Makhanis I have ever eaten! Highly recommended and I will be back soon.

I visited this restaurant for dinner last year with a friend. We went on a Sunday evening so it was a bit quieter. The customer service was very good and the food was delicious. My friend and I had both ordered biryanis (lamb and chicken)...and these were delicious. Portion size on the Biryanis was very generous too. We also had Gulab Jamun and vanilla ice cream for dessert which was also very good. This is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in the West Midlands.More
