On a dreich B'ham day, I had the Confit Duck with cherry sauce, and my companion had the Salmon Rillette as a main. The food was excellent (although the French beans were a bit over) and the large glass of French Malbec I had was very good. We were served by Alan who was friendly, attentive without being pushy or... More

We were in Birmingham for the weekend to see The Blues v Notts Forest game and went to Cafe Rouge for dinner on the Saturday night. Five of us in all and we had a fab night. Alan was great - just the right mix of friendly and efficient. Will definitely book again next time we're in Brum.

Cafe Rouge in Brindley Place is close to the NIA and Birmingham's fantastic Symphony Hall. As regular concert-goers we often call in here for a bite to eat before or after a concert. The staff are always welcoming, the service is prompt (important if you are on your way to a concert) and the food is excellent. On this occasion... More

I had a Buy a gift voucher for Christmas from my sister for Café Rouge, We had a lovely 3 course meal with a glass of Presecco. The menu we had to choose from was limited with the Mussels being sold out so this made it even more limited. The food we chose was really lovely, the staff were also... More

Feel it only fair to say we are a bit of a Cafe Rouge fan, had a long weekend staying in a Hotel near James Brindley Place in Birmingham and had the opportunity to call in on two separate evenings. The restaurant was very quiet but the service was as always seems to be the case in Cafe Rouge very... More

Popped in here on my visit to Birmingham and would like to say it is the best Cafe rouge I have ever been to. From decor and atmosphere, to the best service! Greeted by lovely Lucy and served by Shanur and manager Thamir. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I am a fussy eater! Beautiful meals served with... More

It's busy but spacious. Comfortable and modern and has a nice feel to it. We weren't that hungry so chose dishes off the £12 for 2 courses menu...good choice. The pate was lovely and tasty served simply and the 5oz minute steak was high quality and cooked to order. All great...only complaint..I can't stand Stella cidre and prefer a real... More
