We try this for a nice meal staff are lovely and helpful worth try am sure if we had a nice hot day it would be lovely to seat and watch the boat .

Consistently the best quality, atmosphere and setting.. no complaints ever. Extended dining throughout the bar, restaurant function suite and marquee always top quality food and service. Fabulous fine ales too. A delight for all seasons and occasions.

This used to be my local, but these days, I only go for fleeting visits, the food is fab, staff are friendly and the pub has a great atmosphere and the food is good vale for money
Saw the reviews about this place so decided to pop along on a Friday early evening. The sun was out so the place was packed. Lots of people there with there dogs both were friendly enough. Lovely selection of cask ales to try.
Pub very different in a lovely location next Canal. We had ham sandwich and chips. reasonable quality and plenty to eat but not great, Service was quite good and staff pleasant.
Very well looked after beer (and clean toilets). Sit outside and watch the narrowboats negotiate the tricky bend as they manoeuvre the canal junction. A great was of spending a sunny day. We didn't eat here but spent some time 'gongoozling'. Just a few yards...More
