We both had the two courses for £10.99. Food was lovely, staff were very nice. Good value. Enjoyable experience
Lovely service, food & a bit extra from the lovely Sharon. 15 in our group the food came together and hot & felt very Christmasy. Will be back again soon. TY
It's been exactly a year since our last visit, my brother's birthday, so any shortcomings from that visit have been ironed out. Greeted and seated by the lovely Sophie, and entertained by Sharon wrestling with Christmas lights was a cabaret of sorts. I had battered...fish which was pretty decent, my brother had a cheese and bacon burger. We both had cheesy ciabatta and beer battered onion rings and a couple of coffees. Couldn't finish the food, so Sophie provided a carry-out box which was unexpected, but appreciated. I really enjoyed it here today, the reviews reflect on what a good job this establishment is providing. It won't be another year before I revisit this place, the food is very good, but the staff go that extra mile to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Sophie was a real star, and the chef who I briefly saw looked professional in clean whites. It makes a huge difference when you see a chef looking the part!More

Very lucky that The Old Crown is our local, never had a bad meal always freshly cooked and piping hot, ambience is relaxing and friendly All staff are very attentive certainly deserves 5 stars.
From the moment we walked in the team looked after us so well. Sharon saw I looked cold so moved us to a table by the radiator. The £10.75 2 course lunch was excellent value and large portions. Food was delicious. The staff were friendly...and went out of their way to be helpful. Will definitely go backMore
AMAZING PLACE, AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING STAFF! I COULD NOT RATE THIS PLACE MORE, THEY REALLY DO GO THAT EXTRA MILE
Came in Friday night, Sharon behind the bar absolutely made sure we had a good night, me and friends only came in for a few drinks to go out into Cov after, ended up staying later than we thought. Great pub

Popped in for the lunch time menu. Both my husband and I had the ciabatta, BLT & Cajun Chicken. All served by our friendly server who unfortunately we didn't ask her name. Absolutely delish 😋 and lots to eat, followed by chocolate fudge cake and...cheesecake. Always excellent food and friendly service. Atmosphere was warm & welcoming, with twinkling lights all set up for Christmas. Keep doingMore

Went with a couple of friends and the service was friendly, fast and work every penny. Went for dinner but stayed for the quiz and a good time has had by all. The food was delicious and if you were worried about portion size. Don't...be.More
