Recently had the Sunday delivery roast Dinner, absolutely brilliant. 4 mains, 2 sides, 4 puddings and a bottle of wine for £50, was worried at that great price there would be a drop in quality or quantity but no. All meats and veg superbly cooked, a plethora of hot gravy, would (and have been) recommend to all

We had a party of 8 booked into this restaurant, on a recommendation from a mate, got to say it was well worth it, staff were great, food exceptional with a variety of orders placed and it all came at the same time, compliments to the chef keep hold of him/her, from a price wise that again for us was a delight, this is a mid range price and you do not get ripped of as some do, and you do get a lot for your money. Keep up the great work you and your staff do you deserve all the praise that comes your way. Thank You

My daughter is at Warwick University and lives in Coventry and I paid her a visit on a miserable Monday morning. We decided to go for lunch and picked a well-known Italian chain restaurant in/near the city centre. We parked on the street as close as we could get to the restaurant which was quite close to The Artisan Bar and Grill. This place seemed much more appealing so we immediately changed plans. We were given a very friendly welcome and shown to a table in the bar. All Covid precautions were taken and, although not very full, the few customers and staff created a very jovial and welcoming atmosphere. There was a limited menu (to be expected) but the choice was mouth-watering anyway. I chose duck breast and the daughter chose Vegetable Wellington, served with Ratatouille. I drank cola (driving) while my daughter drank beer; I can't remember the name of it but it was the most delicious beer I've tasted for some considerable time. We'll get a taxi here next time. My lunch arrived first and I was too hungry to wait for my daughter's so I tucked in immediately. It looked gorgeous, with tastefully arranged vegetables and a wonderful sauce. It tasted better than it looked and I savoured every mouthful - this was food heaven. When my daughter's meal arrived there were profuse apologies for its lateness (there really was no need, we were enjoying ourselves) and we were told it would be knocked off the bill! Very, very impressive. My daughter really loved her meal as much as I enjoyed mine and even finished hers before me. If there had been room in our bellies for a pudding we would have tried one, but there wasn't. We were two very full, very happy people thanks to the staff at The Artisan Bar and Grill. Outstanding. Truly outstanding. We can't wait to return.

We have been using Artisan Sunday Lunch takeaway service for a number of weeks now & just wanted to say how brilliant it has been. The portion sizes are generous & the quality has been fantastic (the ham the other week was outstanding). Thank you so much - you make our Sundays!

My partner arranged a 60th birthday meal with my family, which was the first time we have been able to meet up to celebrate something together since the covid pandemic started, with a surprised visit from my sister and partner. Its been a tough year as we also lost our mum during this period. We have been to the Artisan restaurant before and had great service and lovely meal, but on this occasion it was awful, my partner had to collect cutlery from other tables as the table was not set even though this was booked well in advance, the service was appalling. We asked for water for the table which we never received we had to constantly ask for drinks as no one came to our table to ask us, we were not asked if we wanted and sauces or condiments to go with our meals. Our table was booked for 6pm inthe evening and the restaurant was not busy we were a party of 10 and they had ran out of fillet steaks which was one of the reasons we booked the Artisan as it is well known for this. All in all a very disappointing evening that I was really looking forward to celebrating my special birthday with my family

On arrival you are met with a hand sanitizer and signs of social distancing. A friendly member of staff (Keown) was welcoming and informative, showed us to our table. All worries of being in public were diminished as the restaurant felt clean, cosy and sanitised without feeling clinical. The food was AMAZING!!! Being regular visitors we knew the food was great but they’ve upped there game even more. The steak (filet) was the best my husband’s ever had and the Tandoori chicken was authentic and plentiful. We would highly recommend this place for any occasion. Well done guys 👌🏼

Feel very disappointed and let down with The Artisan as we had booked my husbands 50th birthday celebrations in there conservatory/bar area. We had been in to see them on numerous occasions, paid the deposit (£50),confirmed numbers and buffet menu etc. They knew all along that it was a family party and children were going to be present. We rang them the day prior to this to check all was OK and we were told that any children attending would need to leave the premises by 9pm!!! The party wasn't starting til 7.30pm. So we cancelled the booking...leaving us to try and book something else last minute and losing our deposit!! SO THANK U VERY MUCH!!

What a fabulous experience! Had our after wedding meal here there was 8 of us and 7 of our guests had steak all different steaks and cooked to different specifications and every single steak perfect. As I'm in the catering trade myself I know this is no easy task. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Cannot recommend this place high enough.

After lots of good reviews, imagine our disappointment when our reservation couldn't be found, we had to ask for cutlery and no napkins arrived. Things went further south when items weren't available from the (much reduced) menu, which we didn't find out until we tried to order them. Whilst the food itself was great, the lack of customer service left a bad taste.

Firstly thank you for comment on the food being GREAT 👍 we do take pride in our steaks and I remember the 2 medium rare fillets that you chose. I understand this wasn't your first choice of steak as you had opted to go for a rib eye. Unfortunately we had sold a huge amount of rib eyes that day and when you book a late table sometimes although rarely one of the 4 cuts of steak we off may have run out. I would like to point out that our menu is not reduced at all, it is a carefully thought out menu with everything cooked fresh and purchased locally. I'm sorry your booking had been misplaced it had been put down for the following week but I'm glad we were still able to accommodate you. As for the cutlery, as per the new guidance due to COVID-19 we do not lay the tables until just before the table is booked, and as your booking had been booked in for the following week we obviously hadn't placed cutlery and napkins on yet, but as I said earlier I'm glad we could still accommodate you. I'm glad you're enjoyed the food and hopefully now you understand the reason for the cutlery not being placed on the table and you will visit us again soon.

Quick family sunday lunch today, overall very happy with food offering, but drinks appear pricey, generous main & dessert portions. I went for the vegetarian main (sweet potato Wellington), would be great to add more value in comparison to the other dishes, perhaps some wild mushrooms - extra veg etc. Excellent roast potatoes and Yorkie. A fish main option is missing. The food was well cooked and nicely presented especially great presentation of the crumble with plenty of custard. Crème Brille with smooth texture and perfect crunchy topping. The FOH team friendly and professional. We will be back to check out the a la carte menu ...

Prawns very over done. No real skill involved. Just parawns! The pork starter was pretty basic as well. Although my partner liked the croquettes. The lamb main was served what was called salsa verde but tasted off and almost like mint and vinegar from a jar. It was vile. We were starving so we ate what we could. I had the seabass. The fish was nice but that was it. The new pots had no seasoning, there was no sauce. The prawns were like bullets. I'm gonna guess the chef doesn't work on Mondays because it was a 2/10 from both of us. The price of £80 one one and 1 coke. This isn't good enough won't bother coming back.

This is a great little place! I visited with a friend on a weekday evening. Based on suggestion we shared a starter to ensure we had room for dessert, which I always think is great when restaurants are open and honest about portion sizes. I’m glad we did save room for dessert as the brownie was THE best I’ve ever eaten! For main we had a steak and a salad, both very big portions and really nice. The servers was very attentive and they were friendly and lovely. Would absolutely go back!

We went here with friends for a meal. The ambience was lovely and Covid rules were in place. The menu was quite limited as I've found with nearly everywhere these days as restaurants just can't serve the amount of people they used to so would result in lots of food waste to offer a diverse menu. We have the chicken supreme. It was delicious. Perfectly cooked juicy chicken and the presentation was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend.

We had a delicious Sunday Lunch at The Artisan Bar & Grill. The meat was tender, vegetables perfectly cooked and all of the extras lovely. The GF choices were brilliant with the chef making full accommodation for GF dining - we even had a GF Yorkshire Pud! An interesting and happy setting with friendly staff. Thanks.

Went to the Artisan for lunch today and what a treat it was indeed. I went with my 90 year old Mom who is not afraid to say when something is not quite right. But there were no complaints today! We both opted for the roast beef dinner and honestly it melted in your mouth!!! The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the Yorkshire pudding was delicious too. Plus plenty of gravy served in your own little jug (so cute). We then went for sticky toffee pudding and we got a huge slab of sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb ice cream and extra chocolate sauce, again served in a separate jug, it was beautiful! The place was buzzing with so many people and parties, it was an absolute pleasure being in there, the atmosphere was brilliant. So overall, great atmosphere, great food, great service and always with a smile! Thanks to head chef Leigh for the stunning food and thanks to Helen and her team for such fantastic service! You all deserve a medal, you all worked so hard today. Huge thanks from me and my Mom xx
