Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As it was half-time school holidays, I was on Nana duty and decided to take my two grandsons into town and they always love to go to a Café whilst there. The issue we often have is my eldest grandson is Coeliac so has to...have gluten-free food. I had already contacted Baxter Baristas to see if they offered suitable GF food for a child and they responded promptly and informed me they did. Both of my grandsons had the child's picnic bag - a first that they could both choose the same thing. My eldest grandson ate and enjoyed his food. I would also point out that he is very sensitive to gluten and the slightest bit can make him very poorly. Cross-contamination is a risk with GF food, clearly in preparation this had been addressed and dealt with carefully and properly. I highly recommend this Café, staff were pleasant and helpful, the environment felt child-friendly and my grandsons found it hilarious that there was bicycles on the walls! To be able to take my grandson into a cafe where he has options and we can feel safe he won't be poorly is a joy. Strongly recommend this lovely place.More

Had another excellent lunch box delivered today. Fresh, tasty and great value. There was plenty of food for four and my friends were really impressed with Baxter's Barista take away menu. They agreed on 5 stars.

This cafe is situated right next to the foyer of the Transport Museum and has a chilled out atmospere and plenty of seating. I'd been before, but never for breakfast. Service was efficient as before and credit too for continuing to serve great quality loose...leaf teas. What let our breakfast down was the bread: what the menu referred to as "bloomer" was standard supermarket white sliced bread and the soughdough served with the poached eggs was barely toasted. For £5.50 a portion, we thought this was a bit weak.More

We visited here to meet a family member but the smell of the coffee was to tempting not to order one . The last who served us was very polite and friendly. On ordering the lady who served us said the code to the toilet...was on our coffee recept. The cafe was clean and I liked the decor. The toilets were equally as clean. The coffee was lovely and we would definitely return .More

After what seemed an age for my breakfast bearing in mind the place was empty at lunchtime. I was very disappointed . An half slice of bacon. a poor quality sausage, unseasoned tomato and poached eggs that resembled two hard boiled eggs. Nice mushrooms, beans,...sourdough bread and a hash brown. Definitely not worth the almost £10 cost. I have been to this establment before and although more expensive the quality of breakfast was very good but it's gone well down hill since my last visit. Won't be eating here again.More

Baxter was used for a Birthday home delivery for my Mum In Bulkington . She was so delighted, the service was first class. She was so impressed by the delivery (where the representative donned a Hat and White Coat and wished her a Happy Birthday)....From there she looked at the box and there was a fantastic array of Sandwiches, Salad, Cake, Scones (with clotted cream and jam), cookies, strawberries and grapes in a fantastic presentation box. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone thinking of using a Afternoon Tea gift for a loved oneMore

Cycled here from Ipswich for their 'Coventry Godcakes' a lesser well-known regional pastry. Baxters was an oasis in central Coventry situated next to the transport museum. Stacey was very welcoming and hospitable (even let me leave my bike in a safe place). Had the Baxters...full English - which was excellent and the usb charging points were much appreciated. The Godcakes were excellent.More

I have attended business networking events in the morning with breakfast and the afternoon with hot and cold buffet food on numerous occasions. I have also attended catered for private events where we have had the sole use of the whole premises. Oh, I have...also taken my well-behaved pooch with me on numerous visits(!) I absolutely love the warm and welcoming atmosphere, high level of customer service, the decor and.. it is highly accessible close to buses and many car parks… Looking forward to my return in a couple of weeks!More
