Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came for lunch and found a gem. Fabulous gnocchi with oodles of asparagus, delicious anchovies and hake fritters with a fantastic aioli. Great coffee too! Run by the loveliest people, who really care.

We were given vouchers for breakfast from our hotel which had unexpectedly stopped providing breakfast. We were offered two choices with Juniper was suggested as the favourite. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Flat white was tepid and long black watery and insipid. Scrambled eggs on...sourdough was unpleasant. Bread crust over done and the rest not toasted so hard to cut. Eggs verging on raw and sickly. Another underwhelming ‘artisan’ cafe that thinks too highly of itself, e.g. small bag of granola for £9!!! Also felt a slightly snooty attitude to our vouchers which we hadn’t expected to be needing anyway. Won’t be returning.More

Visited for a lovely lunch and left thinking that was the best slice of cake I’ve had for a very very long time! The trout with lovely thick slices of rye was perfect for a light lunch. The ending of the cake was however the...star for me. I’m not sure what goes into the cheesecake like topping to make it so tasty yet light with a texture of silk. Ordered Smoked Trout on Rye Hazelnut and Coffee CakeMore

We loved this cafe. Amazing Arancini, then trout pate for me and an excellent focaccia sandwich for my other half. The staff fitted us in on a table which was reserved for an hour later. Brilliant food and great customer service. So good we came...back for coffee and cake, highly recommended!More

Such a breath of fresh air given how many bang average cafes there are in Arundel. The coffee here is better than any coffee I’ve had in London, and the cinnamon buns are out of this world. We love Juniper and come here as often...as we can!More

It's the sort of cafe I'd like to have near me. Excellent coffee and fantastic foccacia sandwiches made to order. Try the mozzarella, rocket and tomato which is bursting with flavour. The cafe is small and as it was raining there was limited space. We...felt lucky to find a table and really enjoyed our visit.More

We tried all of the coffee shops along Tarrant Street during our recent stay and Juniper had the best coffee by far. Lovely, dog-friendly cafe, super staff and excellent coffee and pastries. Just wish we’d tried it earlier during our stay!

Love Juniper, our favourite coffee place in West Sussex. Great coffee, amazing bread and cinnamon buns… charming smiley service, dog and family friendly. Need to visit for lunch or one of their dinner evenings. Super place!

Third time we have been here in 4 weeks, each excellent. Like a bakery/restaurant in the Napa Valley. Chefs come from serious restaurant heritage - `Portland in London, Wild Flor in Hove and Amberley Castle. Unpretentious surroundings, food way in excess of expectation. First class...service without being in your face. Very good wine list. A secret gem.More
