Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Michelin star cooking without the Michelin star fuss. Simply brilliant, inventive menu beautifully created . With Lee in the kitchen, his wife Liz out front and the ebullient Clare meeting, greeting and generally enthusing diners and staff alike, eating here is simply a joy

The Parsons Table is consistently outstanding. Today at lunch the restaurant surpassed itself. As ever a warm welcome, unobtrusive but attentive service with many smiles. My starter of Warm Terrine of Lamb Sweetbread and Confit Belly was exquisite, my wife's Game Terrine was delicious. Our...friend's Lee's Pork Pie was greatly enjoyed. I followed with Cornish Hake to be recommended, the accompanying Salt Cod Croquette and Red Pepper and Chorizo Ragu were stellar. My wife's Fillet of South Down Lamb was superb. The last dish, Coq au Vin, was a throw back to the 60's and brought back many happy memories. Remarkably good fare and given the excellent quality of the food and culinary expertise, this is unrivalled value for money.More

We were visiting Arundel just for a few days, and my wife and I ate here on our first night. Food was stunning, each dish was full of a real range of flavours, beautifully presented. Each mouthful genuinely an explosion of taste. Although not inexpensive,...we thought overall it was excellent value, given the quality of the cuisine, and it was just very down-to-earth, friendly and unpretentious in terms of the service and the atmosphere. Absolutely excellent. We booked just a few days in advance, and there were a few tables free, butit was midweek, off-season. Do book well in advance to avoid disappointment!More

Whilst looking for a local restaurant whilst visiting Arundel, Google found this gem for our lunch. £30 (ex drinks), 2 course set menu, with decent variety of choice. My Coq au Vin was excellent, and wife’s seared trout filet on lemon and samphire risotto I...can report was perfect. Service was bright and efficient, ambiance was just right, buzzy but not to intrusive. Wine list was varied and moderately priced. Cannot fault this restaurant, and if we lived closer, we’d definitely return. Congratulations the chef and staff.More

Only good things to say. Set menu plus specials board to give you a great choice. Two courses £30 before drinks. Ham hock and turkey ballotine followed by Coq au vin. Wonderful, super tasty. Specialises in Fish, had a multitude of choices. My dining partner...had Veloute then cod and said likewise. Good selection of wines. Great service, very professional, Nice atmosphere. Definitely return.More

Quite literally one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at! The food was beyond perfect in every way, delicious and also played to a point of perfection…as soon as I left I text everyone I knew telling them they MUST go. On top of...the food being sublime the staff were the friendliest most accommodating people and I couldn’t find anything remotely negative to say if I tried. Amazing…thank you so much, we’re planning out next visitMore

We were very lucky to choose The Parsons Table for a special lunch whilst visiting Arundel. The menu was very enticing and it really didn't take too much to persuade us to opt for the full 3 courses. The front of house team provided a...warm atmosphere, excellent advice and really great service. A recommended Chenin Blanc and a locally produced sparkling Rose were very enjoyable additions to the meal. The food was amazing and we both could not help but taste each others courses, the chicken and the fish were expertly delivered, the chicken was divine and to die for, so enjoyable and tasty. We would recommend this restaurant for an all round very pleasant experience! Thank you!More

This is possibly my 3rd review for The Parsons Table ? We havent been for over 18 months, so we were delighted to meet friends there for lunch yesterday (Thursday). Booked a few weeks ago, it was packed out at lunchtime. Brilliant service, as always....Lovely wine. Even though it was busy, it wasnt too noisy to talk , maybe because everyone was busy eating?! Our table had mackerel, smoked salmon, followed by pork and cod, then apple tart, crème brulee and blackberry mousse - all were absolutely perfect! Amazing!More

My husband and I were pleased to have eaten at The Parsons Table for lunch last week. We had the set lunch menu but could only manage two courses as the dishes were big quantity and incredibly tasty. I had the gazpacho followed by the...pork and my husband had the Guinea fowl ballotine followed by the catch of the day (which was cod). We were blown away by the flavours, portion sizes. Incredibly good value for a restaurant recognised by Michelin. To top it off, the staff could not be faulted. Everyone was attentive but particular mention to our main waitress, Claire. Claire was very good, fun, gave great advice on wine pairing and a staff member who customers would 100% return for. Thoroughly recommend this place and somewhere we hope to visit again (we aren’t local to Arundel). Thanks so much for an amazing lunch.More

Another splendid evening at my happy place. Unusually, not seated at the much revered table 4 but none the worse for that. Food fab as always. Nice touch to round up the bill so that I didn’t have to get my calculator out to establish...that the 25p tip was correct. Please share evenly between the irreplaceable Claire & the wonderful Liz. I look forward to not being able to reserve my next visit due to deservedly being fully booked ;-)More
