Ate here on a Saturday evening so, unsurprisingly, it was very busy. There was a good selection of different tapas choices, including some less common ones, and they were all very tasty. The 'cellar style' of the restaurant space means that the acoustics are pretty...poor, so, when busy, it is very noisy. Fine for meeting with friends but romantic couples might prefer a quieter venue!
Unfortunately we felt let down by the service. There was one young woman who was obviously more experienced than the others but was rushed off her feet trying to hold everything together. We do appreciate that the hospitality sector is struggling with staffing at present but the others were clearly very inexperienced; they definitely need more training in welcoming customers, and generally being much more attentive and aware. We also received a different Malbec than the one listed on the menu but the young woman who brought it was so busy we couldn't attract her attention to query this. It wasn't the 'full bodied' wine we had ordered but, as it was fine with tapas, we just let it go and took it on trust that it was comparable in price!More
