I came here for the first time very recently as I have heard many good reviews, although very expensive, it was a treat. I'd looked at the menu online to get an idea of what I'd like to order. Upon arrival, they had a different...More

My partner booked us as a treat. Celebrating getting a new job. We arrived in plenty of time and thought we could have a drink in the bar first? Felt like we had committed a crime as “you’re early, the table’s not ready yet” we...More

I completely disagree with the reviewer on 3rd September as our experience was fantastic. The kitchen was closed as we arrived after 3pm. However we were offered a bread and cheese platter , kindly prepared for us by the owner. We will return 👌

Great location. Visit helped by a lovely warm sunny day to eat outside with views of Goodwood and the west Sussex countryside. Really good service and lovely food. Unhurried service and unusual food pairings. Portions not too big either, but quite sufficient. Thoroughly recommended.

Great food in wonderful countryside - ideal for lunches and dinners or even a coffee by the log fire on a cold winters day

The Patron/Owner - Giles did a cookery demonstration at the nearby West Dean Chilli Fiesta. He was an executive Chef at the Ritz, London before moving into Catering training. As you would expect from someone of that pedigree - his cookery demonstration at the Chilli...More
