I've not had sushi this good since I moved out of London! We found Gion Sushi at the beginning of 2020 and have been regular customers ever since. Their sushi is consistently delicious. GION Sushi is without a doubt the BEST sushi on the south coast! We’ve been getting takeaway from Gion for a few years now and they’ve always delivered the most incredible food! Gary and his wife Akemi are so wonderfully kind and helpful, always assisting...with the menu depending on what we want. The presentation and standard is always without fault, brilliant menu variety including veggie / vegan options and delivery always on time, we honestly couldn’t recommend it more! I’d compare it to top London / NYC sushi restaurants! We were also lucky enough last year to attend one of their pop up sit down restaurant nights which was so special! It was my son's 11th birthday a few days ago and he loves sushi. The problem in the Bognor / Chichester area is that there are no sushi restaurants, unless you go all the way to Brighton or Portsmouth. I spoke to Gary from Gion...Sushi and he asked a few questions about the types of things we like to eat as a family, and he then delivered the food on ice at exactly the right time on my son's birthday. We had a takeaway from Gion sushi during lockdown. It was such a treat, absolutely delicious and so fresh. The restaurant were also delightful to deal with, will definitely visit one day.
