A proper good old British boozer, serving home made food and good beer. Well priced, friendly service and not a Jus or Balsamic reduction in sight, recommended.

Away from the main town, which suited us. Very helpful staff including the owner, whom we had a long chat with. Breakfast was very nice with toast and a cuppa.

No, the pub has been here for over 200 years and gets its name from the Rainbows that can often be seen over it when looking from the city
