Went on an evening in a large party to celebrate my sisters birthday. Went the previous week, three of us at lunchtime. Excellent service and good food on both occasions.

Lovely friendly pub with great food, beer and atmosphere. Famous for dining alfresco when the sun is shining.

This is a pub/restaurant and we had lunch. The menu was more than adequate but my dish was not a demanding one. - moules mariniere. It was fine but I had to wait a surprisingly long time and it ought to have been somewhat warmer....More

Came for a meal one hot Sunday evening. Managed to get a table outside. A friendly young waitress took our order and very attentive. She informed us that we could still order from the early bird menu. The food took a while to come out...More

Bank holiday Monday lunch with family - opted for a slightly later sitting once the rush had gone, so good attentive service with traditional pub grub food and middle of the road prices. One of the meals wasn't very hot, but I'm sure they would...More

We had a party of eleven celebrating my brothers birthday and the food was outstanding thoroughly enjoyed by all, specifically I had a fillet steak and it was probably the nicest piece of meat I have ever tasted. I highly recommend the Stansfield Arms well...More

First time visiting here and we opted for the two course meal on a Sunday. We ordered the ribs and the fishcake to start which came out quite fast. The fishcake tasted like had some kind of cheese in it which I found overpowering and...More

You will not leave here hungry or disappointed. Catering for every appetite whether extra large or small, it is welcoming from grandparents to tiny children. You will not be stuck with menu choice unless of course because there is so much to choose from. But...More

Typing this whilst we're sat here for my Brother-in-law's 60th. Arrived at 6:30pm; waited ages to be served at the bar seemed to prefer serving regulars. We were waiting for some of our group to arrive and ordered at 7:15pm. By 8:15pm still waiting for...More

The Stansfield Arms dates back to 1543 and is a beautiful beamed historical pub. There are lots of different areas with varying ceiling heights, nook and crannies and not a straight line! It is Family run, our crown and glory. We serve good homemade food all day, every day and have real ales as well as a good wine list.Set in the idyllic Apperley Bridge area, near the River Aire and open countryside it is popular with walkers, cyclists, dog owners all year round. Perfect in the summer on our very large south facing patio area and cosy in the winter by our open fires. We have a large car park.We are famous for our award winning early bird, £12.95 For two courses off the main menu and our Sunday lunches that starts from £9.95.
