Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I enjoyed a rare child free Sunday afternoon so we visited The Royal Low Moor as we had heard the food was lovely. We both had a Sunday dinner and pudding. We were not disappointed, the food was beautiful. Definitely the best...Sunday dinner out we have had. The puddings were delicious too. Perfectly cooked & presented. We have already recommended to family and will be returning with our children. We both agreed that the service from start to finish was warm, friendly and attentive. The decor and atmosphere was lovely too. Couldn't fault our visit and experience and we are looking forward to our future visits.More

This was our first visit to The Royal and we were very impressed. The pub is smart inside and out and has friendly and efficient staff. The menu has great options with good choices for vegetarians. We had 2 x garlic mushrooms which came with...garlic bread. Very tasty. I had portabello mushroom which tasted delicious. For mains we had the loaded steak burger which was quite small but tasted superb. We also had a Sunday roast with chicken and honey mustard roast ham. This tasted lovely. I went for the wild mushroom and spinach nut roast which tasted Devine. The roasts were accompanied by tasty vegetables and a gravy boat each. One being vegetarian gravy. The atmosphere of the pub was relaxed and friendly. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning. A massive thumbs up from the three of us.More

It is a pleasant bar/restaurant serving delicious food, lots of choice and food nicely presented. The service was good and friendly. The bar area was a bit noisy but it is at the other side of the restaurant area so wasn't a problem

We were travelling home to the Midlands from Settle. We discovered this pub on Tripadvisor and it was on our way home. We had an early dinner. Just a few guests in the pub. Whilst the surroundings maybe left a bit to be desired, what...we found inside the pub was excellent. We ordered to fish dishes from the menu. The food appeared to be freshly prepared and we had a bit of a wait. The wait was more than worthwhile. Our food was totally brilliant. Well cooked, excellently presented and we do not think we could have done better. We were welcomed into the pub as we arrived and were looked after during our time there. The whole experience was top class and we would certainly return.More

we went to visit after reading good reviews!! i wish we hadent!!!! i ordered brisket it was very dry and inedible so i sent it back, even the waitress said it looked dry so i dont know why it was even sent out of the...kitchen. my son had the cod which was ok however he was left eating it alone while i waited 15 mins for a replacement meal {not the brisket}which i then had to eat it alone. there was no offer of any compensation or even a free drink as we ended up having more drinks than usual because of our wait.the waitress said sorry but i dont think that is good enough.More
