lovely friendly and warm and welcoming pub. Food was good, staff friendly, situated on main street, so right in the heart of the village.

We met for lunch and enjoyed sandwiches which were excellent value, with a good choice of fillings. Pub does hot meals as well, we were dining in the evening so didnt want 2 big meals in the day. Well worth visit.

The pub is a Timothy Taylors so good beer and reasonable cider on offer. The menu is a good selection of pub classics with a few options from further afield. Very... More

Superb food. Cannot rate it highly enough. We were a party of fourteen and they set us up in a side room and whilst they could not close the room off just for our party, no-one else came in until we were getting ready to leave. Nice staff also

A typical local pub in the cobbled high street. Very friendly and good local real ale from Timothy Taylor. The food looked decent but we had booked in elsewhere
