We love this restaurant and it’s our favourite Italian in Keighley. The service from Korado and his team is always friendly and attentive. The food is consistency good with reasonable prices too. We booked for a Valentine evening meal and we both had the fillet steak for our mains which was cooked exactly how we liked it. We had a good bottle of Primitivo red wine too. We’ll back again soon. Leavers lunch

On the hottest day of the year, we took 50 primary school children for a leavers lunch . The staff welcomed us with drinks( which we needed after the walk down, in the 35 degree heat). We cannot praise them enough, the service was beyond amazing. We even offered to help , but was told to sit down and enjoy ourselves. Every plate was fresh and flavoursome, which I didn’t expect as there were so many of us.

Absolutely delicious!

Being a local I have walked past this please so many times and not gone in until today. Wow was I missing out! Dropped in for dinner with my father this evening and the meal was fantastic! I had the spicy penne arabiata and it was perfectly cooked, delicately spiced and full of flavour. The staff were attentive and polite and the prices were very competitive, my meal costing just under £10. The decor is also beautiful and the covid precautions/social distancing stuff is well done with the building looking spotlessly clean and safe. 100 percent reccomend this restaurant to any fans of real Italian food in Keighley!

Valentine`s Early Bird

On telephoning to make a reservation at our requested time. It was a little confusing as the person I was speaking to was asking someone who was calling out his responses in the background. This amounted to the table we were allocated was required back by 7.30pm We made the reservation and elected to arrive fairly early to allow us time to order etc without having to rush. However, on account of the time limit, we decided to skip dessert and coffee afterwards. Staff on arrival were welcoming and there were single red roses on the tables which were a lovely touch. At the time we arrived there were only two couples in the restaurant. The table we were given was like being in a store room with piles of spare chairs and high chairs for children stacked behind where we were sitting which was not very romantic considering the occasion. Wine served was beautiful as was the glass ware. Jug of water and lime, at our request. The bread roll could have been of better quality as could the olives in the olive starter which appeared to be from a jar, noting special, sorry. Didn`t like the labelled hygiene wrapped cocktail sticks which were arranged all over the dish? A better selection of olives would be a suggestion here. The mains were tasty and nicely presented but be aware that if expecting veg or salad or potatoes to come with the dish this is not the case and are charged as side orders. We did not realise this until we received the bill which was hand written and not very clear as to the cost of what we had ordered. £16.95 per person for 2 courses ended up costing £55. We had 2 small glasses of red one serving of potatoes and one small dish of vegetables which we shared.

Always look for the Italian where the locals eat!

It was a Tuesday so staffing levels and atmosphere was on the low side, but that did not stop the service from being prompt and efficient. We misunderstood the Focaccia starter, it arrived the size of a pizza! Traditional Italian meals done well, and the staff were not pushy because they required the table after an hour and a half!! More modern setting than their previous site around the corner. Bright and airy!

Good service. Bad food.

The staff were really friendly and service was good. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t great. We had meatballs and mozzarella starter. The meatballs tasted like they had gone off. We had pasta and a calzone for main. The pasta tasted like it had a full bulb of garlic in, and the calzone tasted sweet (as if the dough had maybe gone off). We also noticed there is a 5* hygiene sticker in the window, but after checking online it looks like the restaurant only has 3*, which just seems dishonest.

Family birthday celebration

A get together for a 14th birthday celebration. Age range from 5 to 65. We let them down on booked/arriving times but, no problem. we were still made to feel welcome and were well looked after. Diverse choices - starters, mains, desserts, drinks, little extras - taken care of with minimum fuss and cheerful smiles. The food was superb, the service excellent and the atmosphere was great.

Lovely Italian treat

We ordered takeaway through the Deliveree app and we were extremely pleased with the quality and excellent food. We had 2 pizzas and a pasta dish and we were impressed by the lovely delivery driver, gorgeous food and the price. I immediately recommended it to friends and family. I can't wait to go in person when the restrictions lift.

First time visit

We ate here for the first time recently. The dishes we had were nicely cooked in terms of tenderness and being served hot. However, I’m afraid the dishes were all a little bland and lacking in seasoning. I had chicken in a tomato/chilli sauce and there was no chilli flavour. My other half had fillet steak in a garlic sauce which didn’t taste of any garlic. Service was ok and the staff were friendly.

Poor experience this time

Have been before and had a totally different experience. This time, even though the food was just as good as ever, it was let down by the service. It did seem that it was manned by young people who weren’t quite sure of themselves. We ordered some water for one of our party which came via a small jug but no glass. I had to go ask for one. Our table was by the front window which proved a little uncomfortable for some of our party as they felt cold and ate with their outdoor coats on. The heating did seem to be off. Overall, with the slow service and apparent lack of other staff it was disappointing. Wouldn’t put us off going again but perhaps not on a Wednesday night, maybe nearer the weekend when it would have more ambiance.

Evening meal 25/01/2020

Even though we made a late booking we managed to get a table. There were two birthday parties celebrating that evening but the service and food was as usual up to the normal high standard. I would have no qualms in recommending this restaurant to anybody. ( they do brilliant steaks ).

Takeaway quality food, not fine dining

Good service but the food lets it down. The starters were good but the main courses let it down, everything was edible but like a cheap takeaway no real food quality and not what I am looking for from an Italian restaurant. One other big problem for me is the noise level, the furnishings make it very sharp and loud, needs some sound deadening or soft furnishing as was difficult to hold a conversation with the people at your own table. This was when the place was only 30% full.

Fabulous Food

We recently enjoyed an early dinner here whilst staying in the area. What a great find, welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant, lots of choice on the menu and all superbly cooked and presented.

Love this place!

The food is delicious, the welcome is unbeatable, the wine is good and everything is reasonably priced! Everyone is very friendly, they love to have a laugh with you and make a real fuss of you if it's a special occasion! What more can anyone ask for?

Lovely Italian

It was great to be back at Ponte Vecchio again as it’s one of our favourite places to eat in Keighley. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. The new murals and sayings round walls of the restaurant were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back again.
