We popped in last night and the place was covered with fruit flies. Certainly didn’t make us feel like staying for a second drink

Popped in here for a snack and opted for their North Bar sharing plate at £14. Well-worth it as we had a beautiful pork pie, 3 cheeses, 3 meats, gherkins, mustards, half a loaf of raison-y bread. And washed down with some fab beers. What...More

Late night visit to this funky dive bar esque night spot with a friend. Great selection of beers, both local and international. I had a bottle of Daas Ambre, an organic, gluten free Belgian beer that I've never tasted before, my friend had a 1/3...More

We went at the weekend with our son who is a fan and knows Leeds well. I can understand why he likes this pub-great atmosphere

Popped in pre and post matinee last Saturday. As always a great range of beers available, cask, keg, can, bottle. The world is your lobster. Craft beer lovers paradise. Knowledgeable staff. Thirds available. Job done.

I used to drink in here years ago when I worked in Leeds! This is still a great bar and has not changed much! Really good range of craft beers and interesting array of typical pub snacks! Well worth a visit if you are in...More

Great selection of ales, offered tasters for some of the beers to help decide what to have. Very chatty staff with great beer knowledge. Like the idea of having a beer fridge in the bar area which you can pick bottles and cans from. The...More

I ventured out to Leeds for one of my friends birthday, initially we headed to Headrow House, before any alcohol was consumed I might add, and were refused entry due to being in a group. Might I also add that six 60 year old men...More

We came here for drinks one Saturday night. The bar staff were very helpful in recommending beers and letting us sample the different ones on offer. The decor is nothing to write home about, but it was pretty busy when we visited and had a...More

Probably the first craft beer bar in Britain. A cosy gem serving a massively varied selection of quality drinks, plus teas, coffees, and light bites to eat. One of the original pioneers of the Leeds bar boom, North has an unparalleled beer selection, served brilliantly by friendly and informative staff. Winner of the Observer Food Monthly's 'Best Place to Drink in Britain award. North is Leeds' coolest haunt for lovers of great drinks, music and art.
