I came to Gaucho open minded, wondering if it would live up to the hype. In a simple way of putting it - yes. Yes it did. You probably don't need a steak knife when eating your steak here, the meat is incredible. Also the service was so unreal, so well mannered and polite, which didn't feel manufactured or forced.... We went as a group of 13 for a friend's birthday. Venue is nice, a little cramped but stylish and fun. Service was awful. Servers didn't know own their products at all and we're so slow. It took 1.5 hours to get our mains. Two of us had chicken that was almost bloody raw and had to be returned. Service... More

We booked for my girlfriends birthday and the staff could not have done any more to make our night awesome. From the second we arrived nothing was too much trouble. There was a lovely buzzing atmosphere and receptionist Jung (like Jungle 😉) was a particular highlight and an asset to the restaurant.

Our favourite restaurant ever for a special treat. Always perfect in wevery way; food, wine, eservice and setting. We've been Gaucho lovers since the very beginning and in our view there just isn't better steak anywhere. Add in lovely Argentinian wine, Managers and a team who are always genuinely lovely people and it's a recipe for a wonderful experience. We... More

Went here last night, I really liked the decor and ambience in the restaurant, it was Valentines so disappointed the restaurant did not make more of this but it was still lovely. Unfortunately there were several loud drunk groups in which did spoil things slightly as they were literally shouting across the table to each other! The food itself was... More

We came to a packed restaurant as would be expected on Valentines day. Had a quick drink before being seated. The food was as always excellent but I'd like to commend Usman our waiter for the evening on his excellent service. I think of the 6/7 times I've been to Gaucho he provided the most helpful and friendly service I've... More

This was a good meal but it is mega expensive and when you are paying above the odds for a meal you expect it to be perfect. Couldnt find fault but there are a lot of restaurants offering local reared steak at less than half the price of Gaucho so for me it doesn't work. We had prebooked the meal... More

Visited on a Sunday evening before an arena show. We had to ask if they were open as it was empty. Waitress explained the cuts of beef and that only meat and wine sold was from Argentina. We watched the chef playing with his phone whilst supposed to be cooking our steak. He was fully aware we were watching him... More

Been here a couple of times now,, I've ordered the seafood starters on both occasions ..simply amazing and then moving on to the steak...Amazing! Its expensive ..around £50.00 per head and thats without drinks but when you consider the interior, ambience, atmosphere, service and food...its worth every penny. A nice place for a date ..I can't guarantee wedding bells but... More

We visited to celebrate & left so happy. It is hard to find, easily missed, you go down steps on a main road. Once you enter though, it's like a different world! The interior is simply exquisite. Very modern and chic. When we went, it was quiet, which meant the atmosphere was so relaxing. They arrive at your table with... More
