HORRIBLE

This Indian was not up to scratch, food was taking forever and It took forever to sit down in such a unbusy restaurant, we were forgot about multiple times and the music was too loud for a 5* restaurant, when the food arrived my korma...had a cling film like texture like when gravy is left for too long, and smelt like porridge, massive chunks of pineapple and the keema Nan was disgusting no meat and greasy, my friend sent his food back and didn’t want any more food as he had enough of the place and wanted to go, overpriced and generally a disappointment for a 5*, i could have had better Sainsbury’s ready meals!!More

Does not deserve 5 stars.

Booked our table for 6. Resteraunt was really quiet but ended having to wait 20 minutes to be sat down, we weren’t actually seated by a waiter we had to ask to seat ourselves. If you are used to a regular Indian restaurant in England...this isn’t the place for you. Only recognised a couple of things on the menu. Mains were very poor, chicken tikka masala was nothing like a normal chicken tikka masala, byriani barely had any lamb in. Keema naan barely had any keema in. Again if you are used to going to an Indian restaurant with dishes like madras, vindaloo, buhna then you should probably avoid. Overall service was poor but the manager we dealt with at the end was quite good and concerned when we said we didn’t enjoy the meal he was concerned. Wouldn’t recommend.More

The worst indian in England

This is the worst food I have ever tasted I have ordered a keema naan and a chicken tikka masala it has come and I have ate none of it due to takeing one mouthful and it being terrible I have sent this back and...the keema naan that came was also not keema it was more like minced beef would highly recommend people avoid this indian as it is horrible.More

12/10 OUTSTANDING

The whole experience at Mumtaz was just amazing!!! The place is beautiful, the staff is incredible nice and professional, the food is great, desserts are so good it was hard to not order more (but we were so full already) the cocktails are so good!!...Piña Colada is a MUST TRY once you there!!! You won’t regret! I can not wait to go back to Leeds and go to Mumtaz againMore
