I really do hate to leave bad reviews but this is my 3rd and final visit (I like to give places a chance as sometimes they can have off days) The food is just awful, that's if there's any food out, long waits til it's refilled. Not alot of food to choose from, desert selection is also very poor. The... More

You know one of the most innovative and original developments in Chinese cusine lately has been the A.Y.C.E buffet", the all you can eat allows a quick dip into a great selection of fresh food cooked and presented fresh and enticing for the customer; unfortunately the concept breaks down at places like this inappropriately named Chine Palace when the staff... As a support worker I took my client out for lunch. The food was OK but Luke warm. Not much variety. Shredded beef had no beef in it, it was all batter. No prawn dishes. The fish tank looked like a swamp. The ladies toilets were appalling. They haven't seen bleech in probably six months. The hand wash smelt awful... More

Honestly done know how this place stays open. Empty trays, what is full taste bland and greasy. No effort put into anything. Even the fish tank clearly hasn't been cleaned in months.

Everything is a little Amateurish. The buffet range is limited, dry and on the whole bland. The layout of the restaurant is a bit odd, the service is average at best and the whole place is a bit grubby. If you're at Cardigan Fields there are much better places to eat... McDonalds being one of them!

We've always enjoyed the buffet at Palace Chine but how it's changed. We booked a table for 7.00pm and during our whole visit there were only 2 other tables occupied. Goodness knows how long the food had been sat there. e.g. Duck in pancakes: the 4 pancakes available were dried out and stuck together, plum sauce had run out, no... More

We had a GROUPON voucher was that near its expiry so decided to use it tonight. We weren't expecting great things to be honest and we were right. The food had clearly been sat there a while. The sauces had thick skins on, the chicken satay was stone cold, the sweet and sour chicken was hard and dry in the... More
