09.09.23 - We were visiting Leeds for the night to celebrate our anniversary. We love Italian food so booked Da Vito after reading the reviews. It is a lovely restaurant with a nice layout and felt very intimate. The food was absolutely amazing, the garlic...mushrooms were the best I have had in a restaurant. We both had starters, Mains and my husband had a pudding and we had a drink each. The bill was £62.50, which was very reasonable for such great food. If we lived local we would definitely be regulars. The only negative - The table situation wasn't great. We were right next to the kitchen door so it was very noisy and hot (more so as it was a very warm night as well). Also I was in the main walk way so my chair kept getting knocked by the staff rushing by. If we came back we would ask not to be seated there again.More

Date night in Leeds last night. We prefer to have a few drinks and then try a walk in a bit later on. We headed for our usual favourite, Viva, to find that they were closed for a well deserved summer break. A quick bit...of research and we walked to Da Vitos. How thrilled were we to find the previous owner of Viva now running the show at Da Vito. We were treat like royalty from start to finish and must have timed our walk in just right as the restaurant was quickly full. The garlic pizza bread was sublime. Pasta and fillet steak followed. Both divine. A perfect creme brulee finished our evening beautifully. Moretti on tap, and a great wine list. The service was friendly and professional. Fully deserves all of the great reviews. We will 100% return, very soon, and will bring friends too.More

Just lovely. 2 adults 2 children. Upon arrival we thought it would not be kid friendly, but we were wrong, waiters were extremely friendly and professional to both adults and children. Service was superb. Food brilliant especially the mussels and sea bass (cooked very well...with crispy skin). As it got busier we did notice staff were less attentive, but understandable. Reasonably priced with a good choice of meals for all. Will definitely visit again.More

I have lived in Leeds until the last few years and my business is still in Leeds. Last Saturday I was looking for somewhere to eat on Google Maps near to a venue we were attending. Da Vito popped on the map……been of Italian decent...and a Leeds lad I was so surprised I’d never heard of it! Well the long and short is this place is fantastic! Vito very warm and welcoming. We had a varied mixture of dishes from pasta to the vitello, the seafood was unbelievably fresh but best of all was the authenticity of the food! Service was 5 star! Wine very reasonably priced. If you are a lover of Italian food I guarantee you will not be disappointed….so good I’m there again this Saturday! Well done guys super work!More

Fabulous restaurant! Outstanding food, great service, lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. Just visiting Leeds but if I lived locally would be a regular.

A very busy Saturday night, but a reminder we do not need to be in a hurry. We had to wait for our pre-booked table, then long waits between courses, but that is the Italian way. Drinks and talkings between, in a lovely, cosy yet...trendy atmosphere. All around you heard laughter, including my own. We had olives and garlic bread as appetisers, my husband was not a fan of the flat pizza style garlic bread but ate it anyway. My scallops in shell with a tasty breadcrumb topping was tasty. Our pasta mains were delightful, not a clean plate between us and dessert equally pleasant. Portions are not oversized so you are not overwhelmed but you leave nice and full. A venue that makes you wind down, relax and go with the flow. A wonderful mix of couples, family and friends, all in good humour - a reflection of the delightful team at work. When we return to Leeds we shall definitely be returning to Da Vito’s!More

BY any yardstick this is a top quality restaurant. From the great welcome upon arrival to the exuberant 'ciao' on departure everything about Da Vito is a cut above average - and a significant cut at that. The menu choices are wide ranging with many...familiar dishes as well as one or two specialities. But what impresses are the standards of cooking and presentation which are top notch. Excellent and comprehensive choice of fine wines - not cheap, but worth every penny (or pound). Add that to the delightful surroundings and engaging staff and you know that you have chosen well.More

Apparently vegetarians and vegans don’t like pasta as there are not even any vegetarian pasta dishes here at all. Defiantly need to modernise the menu and offer more vegetarian and vegan options.More

Simply the best Italian restaurant I have ever seen outside of Italy! The welcome the food the goodbyes ...simply incredible.
