called in last week for a beer with a mate, not a nice place, staff stood chatting, tables in need of cleaning , i cant believe how its still open when surrounded by far better places.

I attended the public house with my family for some food but having to wait til the bar staff finished there chat between them selves and afterward been served by a miserable gentleman who looked like he belonged in a mortuary rather than a pub and taking my seat to a sticky table which was the few without glasses on... More

I haven't been in here for a while until last week. wow. played pool here with mrs, good prices on drinks, sound system was excellent. had a pizza each, not bad at all, homemade and very reasonable.

My family and a friend went here last November (2013) for a Christmas Dinner. Well what can I say ! My food was ok but there again I did not order the Christmas Dinner. For starters it was turkey roll (not acceptable for a Christmas Dinner), everything was overcooked and looked as though it had been microwaved and not freshly... More

I can't quite think of a suitable title for this dive which would sum it up in one go. Years ago I was told the sign of a good bar was the lack of empty glasses and the lack of a wet bar. This has neither. Obviously dying a slow death. I live very near and haven't been here for... More

check out the chefs.enough said. dont try food first. Staff not interested in serving or being polite,tables sticky. overall place, disgusting

Walked down from The Clothiers (Weatherspoons) as it was packed and we were unable to find a table. Walked in here, to find only one other table occupied (which should have raised suspicion's). Ordered a Lasagne and a Chicken Burger. Warned Credit Card machine was playing up, took payment but no receipt (was given one from till) Food arrived quickly... More

On the day that I visited this huge pub only had about half a dozen people in at lunchtime. I made a choice from the menu that was not available and then made another choice, which was a chicken wrap. It was dry and lacked any inspiration . The whole place was dark and uninspiring. I would not eat here... More
