Comfortable room in a pub that has been extensively refurbished. Staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating. A cooked breakfast was provided and was well cooked and presented. The accommodation is well located if you need to be in mid way between the city centre...More

Tastefully refurbished public house with high-end accommodation. Customer service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to perfection - also had lunch which was delicious and keenly priced. All in all a resounding success, would recommend and stay again!

I have travelled extensively on business for over 30 years and this represents the best value I have ever found from a city centre hotel. OK its a £3 taxi ride to the centre of the city (or there's a bus stop 50 yards away)...More

This was a surprise 60th for my sister-In-Law. The service provided for the whole family was excellent with good pub food from a selective menu. Staff friendly and locals too. Will be back. Thank you.
