We went to check out this venue as it was new to us. The restaurant was very busy (11:00 Saturday) but luckily we were able to get a table in the conservatory . Superb service and food excellent. I had poached eggs on toast and...my husband chose the All Day Breakfast. The portions were very good and only empty plates were left afterwards. The staff were all great at customer service with lovely manners. Would highly recommend. There’s also a shop attached which sells super fresh produce from vegetables and meat and cakes and also a good variety of quality gifts. We will definitely be going again.More

Good restaurant. Has a wide choice of meals. Good vegetarian choice. The curry was particularly good. Spicy and a good portion for the price. For those who like an all day breakfast a very good deal well made and tasty. The drinks were good value....Fantastic position in the countryside and run by a charity. Extremely clean and COVID secureMore

Just enjoyed a Birthday Afternoon Tea at Crag House Farm Granary Restaurant. Absolutely beautiful place in a lovely setting. Our needs were taken into consideration and we were seated comfortably in a bright open space. An excellent array of fresh sandwiches and lovely cakes together...with scrumptious scones with cream and jam were arranged perfectly. Attention to detail was spot on. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our special treat today and highly recommend this venue.More

If you're looking for a peaceful rural setting ideal for relaxation and contemplation, then Crag House Farm, part of the Caring for Life charity, and its attractive Granary Restaurant are for you. We both had salads which not only looked fabulous, but were delicious. Everything...is freshly made on the premises, and the kitchen is on view. Service was excellent, and all staff so friendly. The smart adjoining farm shop has an imaginative selection of high-end foodstuffs and gifts, whilst the grounds offer magical garden and woodland walks. We didn't realise until after we left, but we spent three hours there!More

We thought the sandwiches were grossly overpriced. My bread was not fresh. The service was not good and only one toilet. The staff in the shop were not welcoming at all. Very disappointed with the whole experience

Afternoon tea which was plentiful and delicious (had to put some in a box to bring home). Staff exceptionally pleasant. Felt very covid safe. Great little shop and garden centre too. Well worth a visit.

The Granary is certainly off the beaten track but well worth searching for. I hadn't been here since pre-lockdown and was impressed at their attention to Security Covid-19 factors. Very welcoming. Very clean and good (if more limited) menu. Yes, I will definitely return and...definitely recommend.More
