I have enjoyed some pints of draft beer in this amazing bar/restaurant. Everithing is OK in this place, and the waiters are very pleasants.

A great restaurant, really good food, pleasant atmosphere. Had the steak and kidney pudding, the suet pastry was just perfect! The whole dish was delicious. Puddings were to die for. Can't recommend this place strongly enough.

We eat here a few times a year and have never had a bad meal. The menu has plenty of choice and lots of British favourites. It's a pleasant atmosphere and works well for a large group . They will do a pre arranged set...More

Singles made to feel inferior and troublesome in a couple friendly environment. Uneaten food on plates left on bar. Lack of space when live music (jazz)playing.

Been a couple of times before and was always impressed. Although the food was very nice, for the price I would have expected a little more in a way of portion size. Not sure I would go again to be honest unless this was addressed.

Felt sorry for the staff, as they seemed to be doing everything. Couldn't forgive the place for a sirloin steak with trimmings that cost over £20 and was cold and all gristle. Couldn't be bothered to complain, just left it, never to return.

If youre bored with sleek chrome bars, full of moody but fashionable waitresses and food served in little piles, head for Sams Chop House - a slice of Victoriana in the heart of Leeds. On the corner of South and East Parades, Sams Chop House is a warm and welcoming spot where service is always with a smile and dinner is never a disappointment. Inside youll find a laid back, bustling atmosphere between vintage walls high ceilings, dark wood, large original windows and old-style chandeliers. With menus to suit any occasion and any clientele, the traditional British food with a modern twist is a winner, just the kind of thing that your parents complain that you just dont get anymore, from devilled kidneys to home-made corned beef hash.
