Great food and even better value! Would recommend coming here for food that is cooked just as it is in Thailand. Unlike some chain Thai restaurants you get the authenticity and quality that is sometimes lacking elsewhere. Great service too 😁

Came here before seeing a performance at City Hall (it’s right next to it). Nice welcome and good authentic menu. Chose the mixed starter and some pork dumplings which were great and a Tom yum goon with prawn, followed by a chicken Penang curry and a chicken, chilli and basil curry, Stir fried mixed vegetables and a steamed rice. Really very good food. Including eight bottles of Singha the bill was less than £100. Really good value.

From the outside it seemed small and friendly. Even though it was quiet don’t let this put you off. First off the staff were lovely and welcoming! We went on a Saturday and had the seafood set menu (mixed starters, four mains, desert and tea - £29.95 pp). What a fantastic choice. Everything was fresh, delicious and not heavy at all! Particularly The fried sea bass was something else! I could eat that again and again. If you live in, or are visiting, or are prepared to drive any distance you should go here! Now! And again tomorrow.

Booked a table for 6 at 7.30 on Sat night on recommendation. When we arrived it was busy, we had to wait 10 mins before they sat us at table. All understandable and no complaints ; in fact we took this as a good sign. We realised quickly however that they had overbooked and had taken on more than they could handle ; took 20 mins before someone took our order and then 90 mins for food to arrive!! Way too long & when food arrived it was lukewarm & mediocre - as well as SeaBass my mums first choice not on the menu. All in all, we felt they’d got greedy and taken on too much. Worse of all a gesture of some sort (complimentary dessert / coffees) - anything to show they understood our disappointing experience didn’t come! Not the best dining experience I’m afraid 😱

Having researched the menu before our meal (yes, food is that important to us!) we decided to try the Thai Banquet as we found it impossible to choose. We asked for medium spiciness and it was delivered promptly despite being very busy. The starters were so good as was the main course and we brought some away with us. I had a pineapple fritter with ice cream for dessert, my husband just had ice cream. Every morsel of food was enjoyable, it’s the first time we’ve visited in the evening having been for several Sunday buffets there. The decor is pleasant and the staff are delightful, all-in-all a lovely evening with first rate food. Highly recommended.

There were only 2 tables of two for lunch and yet our one course still took 25 mins to arrive. The ither tabke's food was also very slow to arrive. My Pad Thai was quite greasy but otherwise OK. My husband enjoyed his duck dish but we had to hurry our food as we only had 45 mins for lunch which we thought would be fine, given it was very quiet and we were only ordering one course.

This was our first Thai meal and I can say it certainly won't be the last. We found the restaurant on TA as we aren't from the area and booked online which was quick and easy. We weren't sure what to try so we opted for the banquet so we could have multiple dishes. We went for the hot and spicy option but asked for it medium heat. All aspects of the meal were beautiful and very tasty, my favourite was seafood sweet and sour dish and my partners was the Thai green curry. To finish we had banana fritters with ice cream, simple but again tasty. Staff were lovely and the restaurant was clean. Worth the trip.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for years and years and never once had a bad meal. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Everything is very clean, including the lavatory, and especially the kitchen. The menu is broad and it’s all beautifully presented. It’s the best Thai food I’d ever had, and that’s including the meals I’ve had in Thailand and cooked by Thai relatives. They are happy to make things milder (I’m a complete chilli wimp) without erasing any of the actual flavours of a dish, but also happy to spice it up for you as well. The ingredients are good quality and prepared with care - I’ve never come across any gristle, bone, or fatty lumps in any of the dishes. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone who even gets close to Salisbury!

This is a small Thai restaurant. Weekdays they offer a lunch deal of 1 course @£8.95 or 2courses @ £10.95. The lunch menu has about 10 choices of starter and more than 10 mains incl a good number of veg options. There is a small supplement for prawn dishes. Staff were lovely and it was moderately busy. Drinks were sensibly priced. Only niggle was I thought the main dishes lacked real Thai flavour, my dish beef with chilli with Thai basil lacked any poke even though it was marked as a 2 chilli dish. my other half’s chicken dish had a sauce really sticky sweet Chinese style sauce, lucky he didn’t mind. Given 5 stars as it was good value for money.

We booked a table here due to the very high Trip Advisor ratings. We had been in Salisbury for the day, so decided to eat as soon as the restaurant opened at 5:30pm. We were the first ones there, and I was surprised to see it filling up with diners over the next 45 minutes (considering it was still very early evening). The food was great - probably on a par with most of the Thai restaurants we've visited in various cities. The waiter was attentive, and the lady (possibly the owner?) was very sweet. Would visit again.

We were looking for a pleasant place to celebrate our anniversary and chose the Thai Orchid as it looked fairly cosy inside . Starter of Tom Yum soup was rather spicy and fiery, but tasty. For mains, we had the Phad Thai Goong and the vegetarian variety which were very tasty and of a big portion. Wine was pleasant and drinkable. As it was rather late and we already had a snack before dinner,we did not try the dessert . A very enjoyable meal with friendly and pleasant staff.

I like spicy food, but my three friends prefer things milder. I had the Thai green curry, which was delicious! They tried some but it was to spicy for them. I tried what they had, chicken in sweet and sour, and a beef and a prawn dish, very nice if you don’t want anything to spicy. But lots of dishes that were spicy too, so whatever your taste, there is something for everyone. Would go again if we are ever back in Salisbury.

Lovely relaxed lunch. We enjoyed the authentic vibe and the approach of all of the staff. We were in no rush and enjoyed a leisurely lunch of a few sharing dishes. We didn’t come during the EOTHO so paid full price and thought everything was well worth the money. The venue could do with a little updating but the food was spot on and you won’t be disappointed !

We spent the day in Salisbury having got the train in for a change of scenery. I looked at restaurants before we went at booked the Thai orchid for 6pm before outlets train home. We had mixed starters, satay, toasts, spring rolls and money bags, all were lovely(money bags weren’t my favourite). I had a prawn Penang curry which was gorgeous and my husband had some sort of sweet and sour chicken which he devoured. It was reasonably priced and as good as I’ve eaten in Thailand. The next time we are in Salisbury we will return
