Two of us went for drinks and dinner on a Saturday night.
Rebellion on tap and 2 burgers with fries ordered.
45 minutes later the food arrived.
Food was good. Burgers were juicy and tasty. The fries were great.
Apparently, with many orders coming in from food delivery services, customers actually ordering food in the bar get delayed. Would have been nice to know beforehand or even during our wait but ho-hum. With not a little irony, we were sitting next to the 'Enjoy Fast Food' sign.
Still, food was good and I am sure that if you advise the staff that a 45min wait is unacceptable they might think to prioritise in-person patrons.

Went boxing day as a group of 11 & from the outside, the place didn't look much, but as we went in, found our reserved area & found the service was really good, very friendly & attentive - we were pleasantly surprised.
We ordered some popcorn chicken, chicken wings & fries too for all of us to share, and honestly - it was absolutely delicious!!
Would absolutely return.

Have good food and specials like Wings Wednesdays providing great value for money. Wine choices are good and wide range of beers and spirits. Varies from day to day some days it is packed next day it is almost empty. Has been a good place to watch football until recently with fall in number of games. The staff are very professional (except last night could not understand"a large chenin blanc!") and will offer you a choice of areas for most wines. Toilet an be a bit hit and miss. Very dog friendly and customers are ways courteous when moving around a packed bar. Seating a bit restrictive with mainly tables of 6 making it uncomfortable if you are on your own and don't want to crowd a couple out.

Unfortunately last week's visit was way below par on all counts.
We have visited many times over the last few years and always had a good experience.
This time the service and food let them down.
The staff were indifferent and more interested in chatting to their friends in the almost empty bar, and the food was awful we sent it back to a luke warm apology.
Hopefully things will return to previous experiences soon. 😔

I hadn’t been to Off The Tap since before the first lockdown last year, and had always found it decent enough ( for Maidenhead!). The pizzas were good and the service was fine.
However, on this occasion it was almost the opposite. From the moment we got there, the staff seemed to view us as inconvenience to them socialising with their friends. Not friendly or helpful whatsoever, and it’s not like the place was heaving.
I didn’t expect gourmet, Michelin style food but it was bad.The food was very poor, clearly frozen and bland. The chicken was clearly cooked the day before(s) and reheated, and hence obviously overcooked, despite what the manager said.
The beer was fine, albeit overpriced.
Perhaps it was a one-off, but that experience doesn’t make me want to give them another chance any time soon.

Visited last night to watch the football, the place has plenty of seating and big screens along with a good atmosphere. Ordered a pizza, curly fries and chicken wings (it was wings Wednesday 50p a wing) the food was fantastic. The pizza was one of the best I’ve had, good portion size on the curly fries and nice wings. Plenty of snacky/sharer options on the menu and the drink selection is immense. Lots of craft lagers, punk IPA’s and a comprehensive gin selection. It certainly ranks high as one of the best pubs in town.

Unfortunately, this is probably abut as good as it's gonna get in Maidenhead. They don't really seem to know or care about how to keep beer properly and they're more than happy to serve you a pint of sour pish. It's one of them places where everyone's too cool to do any actual work. Sad, because it could be so good if it was managed properly.

Just had a takeaway from here, have never had the food before and I was really impressed. Chips arrived, and they were lovely and crispy. Tried fried pickles for the first time, and I'm now converted. The burgers were of high quality and tasted great. Keep up the good work.

Thought there would be a larger range of draft beers. Hoff was nice and all the better served in a tankard.
The food was fine. Nothing to dislike or get too excited about.
Worth going to if you’re in the locality and fancy a casual venue.

Popped in for some craft beer and food and wasn’t disappointed! Staff were friendly and attentive, the music in the pub was great and the burgers were divine. Had the spicy clicker burger and it was delicious! Just wished I’d bought some suicide sauce to take home!

Amazing all around...

In the era is supporting hospitality it is depressing to be Told you can’t have a drink 40 minutes before closing. When pubs want people back they might find people reluctant to support them.

No distancing between tables, large groups of teens running around the place, security just watched and did nothing. I wouldn’t recommend!
