Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Came in on the way back from a walk and anniversary meal. As always, the welcome was warm and friendly, and the beer was well looked after. Saturdays is live mic night at the Craufurd, and the hosts gave us a couple of great songs...before handing over to some local musicians. A lovely way to spend a few hours. The England v Italy game was being shown outside and there were plenty of people enjoying that too.More

Great staff, friendly patrons and a well-kept cellar. Recently voted (again) as the best real ale pub in Maidenhead by CAMRA. Thursday's is pub quiz night, and last night the bar took over £1000 for the first time in ages. Always looking to make the...experience better, they have fresh pizza (from Kingsmead Pizza Co.) alongside the live music every Friday. Live sports as and when. Small, but perfectly formed, a great place for a quiet drink or a great get-together.More

Had an excellent couple of hours with some friends for an outdoor convivial chat and drink. As ever the beer was excellently kept, and served well. The improvements to the outdoor areas allows patrons to feel secure and comfortable, and provides a wide range of...very pleasant seating arrangements. Staff were excellent in managing the Covid arrangements and the pub has thought long and hard about how to provide for its customers. Well done allMore

They are open for off-sales; visit the website, see what beers are available, then pop round on your 'fresh air break' from being stuck indoors. Either take your own containers or they will provide some. £3 a pint. Perfect.

Friendly, happy, tiny pub. Stopped at the Craufurd Arms yesterday for a few pints. The place which is like someone’s big front room was packed and there was an excellent band playing. Clearly a pub loved by its locals. Really enjoyed my IPA and the...warm and friendly atmosphere. There is a small beer garden and and they serve a small menu.More

Yes, the pub is small, but the atmosphere is great, they look after their ales, and they stock a lot of local beers. There is a small beer garden at the rear, and plenty of events every week. It is a community-owned pub that is...in the CAMRA's Good Beer Guide.More

The Craufurd Arms is a community run pub. It isalso the local CAMRA pub of the year 2019. The pub serves 4 real ales, all are very well kept. We had Marlow Brewery Near Miss, which was excellent, also West Berkshire Good Old Boy. Several...sports screens, but don't dominate. The beer is the big pulling point here.More

Very friendly and low key pub - community owned and run. Different events most evenings - cribbage, darts, pub quiz. Great place to watch football / rugby etc.

I have been a regular customer at The Craufurd Arms for many years, in fact since 1980s Just recently I have noticed a change in policy towards dogs both in the bar and eating areas .During two recent visits I have noticed that dogs are...being fed from customer plates as they eat their meal. They are also allowed to run around the restaurant totally out of control jumping up on other customers as they eat! Surely this is unhygienic and very wrong. I would not eat food there again until this problem is resolved. So selfish of people to impose their dogs on others in such a small environment.More

Hi - the Craufurd Arms remains a dog-friendly pub but we encourage all owners to manage their pets responsibly. We now provide dog bowls and treats so there should be no instances where a dog eats off a customer plate. We've made lots of improvements...More

Great local pub. Staying with friends while down from Yorkshire and had a splendid couple of pint of local real ale. Footie was on at one end. Rugby at the other. Nice atmosphere, people and staff friendly and great beer. This pub has potential! Think...it’s owned by the locals so please folks, support this great venture. Use it or lose it! The beer Gold Old Boy was excellent! And well served for a Southern boozer!!More
