This restaurant has just created a huge problem for my future steaks!!!

Where do I start? This place is absolutely incredible. The service is top notch. You feel as if you’re the only one in there as they treat you with such consideration and they use valuable time to talk you through every aspect of there menu. They even take the time to just speak to you generally as well which was a really nice personalised touch. My wife and I were dribbling just at reading the menu as it sounded so nice, and we weren’t wrong! I had the salt and pepper squid, she had pork belly ribs for starters and WOW! What a way to start the meal. Succulent pork and cooked to perfection. The squid was fantastic and just great! Then we move onto the big daddy steak! What a steak it was! I can’t actually put into words how good it was. Like I actually sat there and ate so slowly just appreciating every single bite of that steak. I’m a scoffer, but this steak needed to have the right appreciation taken as I ate it. With beautiful beef dripping chips, creamy garlic mushrooms and lamb cutlets too. Just, well, erm, SO GOOD!!! They even had a great dessert menu. Desserts that you actually want and would eat after a juicy steak. All around an amazing experience. My wife treated me for my birthday and I can honestly say it’s the best meal I’ve ever had, so thank you to the restaurant owner for creating an incredible restaurant, but most importantly to the chef and the staff for excelling in there to make it such a great destination to eat. I have been to some of the best steak restaurants and can say that this one trumps all of them. I’ve read on here that a lot of people have said it’s expensive for the food, however when you take the time to look at the overall experience with the staff who work there, the amazing quality of the food and the knowledge of how to cook the food properly and give you those illustrious experiences while you’re in there, you would say hands down every time that it’s absolutely great value for money and a wonderful experience that every meat eater should experience in their lives. I will definitely be going back. Hopefully sooner rather than later, and next time I will be taking on a ‘sharing steak’ to myself as I’m feeling the need to experience a great big steak to annihilate. To all the staff there on Saturday 15th, my wife and I would love to thank you as you went above and beyond and nothing was too much of an effort. You deserve to be recognised as one of the greatest steak restaurants around, and in my opinion, the greatest! Congratulations!

My wife and I shared a tomahawk steak cooked medium - and it was the best steak we’ve ever had. The starters and side dishes we ordered was also fantastic. The staff were very friendly and even though it was a Saturday night it wasn’t too crowded and still had a very laidback atmosphere. It’s a bit pricey, but for a special meal out I couldn’t fault it. Fantastic, and we’ll be recommending it to anyone that asks!

Amazing Steak!

Myself and 10 colleagues were all really well looked after at Meat at the Parish last night. Friendly atmosphere, attentive staff, loved the meat display fridges and the choice of meat cuts was as good as any of the big boy steak restaurants in London. Most importantly, the steak and sides were absolutely superb! Definitely recommend it and will be taking the family back.

So... We had a delightful evening. A pricy evening but nice. Service was very good. Wine was very nice. Most of the party enjoyed thoroughly. That said, I shared a very pricy piece of meat with my wife. It was overcooked... We were offered to keep it and the meal price would be taken care of. We could also send it back, but it'd take a long time. We kept it. We were honestly not happy with it, large parts being very overcooked. We were then told other items were removed from the bill to cover the cost of our meat. Looking at it later, that only covered half. Guys, you serve an overcooked 82£ piece of meat... You remove it from the check! That's how you secure an unhappy customer is happy and comes back. Otgerwise, a cool place and a cool lot in the staff.

I went today for a day out in Windsor with my boyfriend. We didn't have anything planned or booked, but we wanted to do something special as this year has been a bit awful and I will also travel to Spain in a couple of weeks so we won't be able to see each other in a month or more. My boyfriend had a look in the menu outside and he said... "I fancy a Sunday roast". We went into the local expecting a fully book place as it seems quite posh and it had actually a lot of clients on the front of the restaurant, but luckily the gentleman, who approach us really quick, found a lovely table for us. First impression, super clean place, polite staff, no kids under 10 allowed and very important!!! Covid instructions followed. We've been served by Yovan who took care of our table and came to offer some drinks and give advise when was required. I ordered a glass of rose, Italian one and my partner a non alcoholic drink. Also we have been offered water on the table. Food menu was full of options for every single customer need, vegans, clergies, etc... My boo and I wanted a Sunday roast. He likes the meat medium and I like it well done but this wasn't an issue at all as Yovan sorted it for us and we had the perfect lunch. The food came in a reasonable time and OMG, the quality, the flavour, the portions absolutely delicious. They have Sunday roast for two for £38 which is a good price taking into consideration the quality of the food. My boo loved too and we promised each other to be back again at some point. I don't have anything bad or improvable about my experience. 5 stars. Special mention for Jovan and obviously the amazing professionals in the kitchen.

Visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner. As this is basically a steakhouse, the meal itself and the service was very good. It is more expensive than your usual steak particularly as you pay just for the steak and the sides do not come with the meal and had to be ordered separately. I had the Ribeye which was very good. Would probably come back for a special occasion meal.

Very pleasant afternoon

Came here for lunch after being recommended by a local. We opted for the Sunday roast which was lovely and nicely presented. The waiter is very friendly and knowledgeable and recommended a perfect Malbec to accompany the meal. Followed it with a fantastic cheeseboard. A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. Will definitely return when next in Windsor.

Meaty Price but Super Steak!

We visited the Meat at the Parish on a quiet Monday evening. What a great find! It was the best meal we had during our stay in Windsor, with steak cooked to absolute perfection and a lovely pre-meal cocktail too! Our welcome was warm and service great throughout, even when a larger party arrived later on. We felt valued and well looked after during our time here. The pricing felt a little steep and the 12.5% service charge (discretionary) was a bit eye watering but we paid it as we’d had a lovely time. We couldn’t leave without trying the Eton Mess dessert and it was a perfect end to a great meal.

Great Place, Good Service, Delicious Food....

Great little find. Went here Friday 6th evening. Our waiter was helpful & welcoming without being too much! The mushroom soup was absolutely delicious and so was my husbands beef in Yorkshire Pudding. The steak we ordered 700g Porterhouse M/R was the perfect size for the two of us. So tasty. Beef dripping chips...well why not!!! The tomato salad was OK. I’d say better quality tomatoes needed for more flavour/juicy tomatoes. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed the house red! A great evening and definitely one to try when in Windsor

Lovely

We had a really lovely meal here over the weekend. Our party ordered a range of various foods and it all tasted lovely, it was cooked perfectly and presented well. I had the house burger which was really tasty and the chips were also very nice. Our first visit but hopefully not our last. I would recommend.

Probably must be lucky with the steak

The food in general is tasty but I guess one of the portions we’ve had of 350g sirloin steak was a total disaster. Half of the steak wasn’t eatable due to chewy parts. Once pointed to the waiter, he went to check with the chef. Never came back with the answer. Customer service need some improvement I guess especially as there was only few other customers at the time.

We live locally and after seeing some good reviews , we went with family and friends visiting. I thought the restaurant was cold and not particularly nice but maybe that's because they sat us right at the back...The food was average to be honest. The steak was just OK but the sides were not nice at all. As a keen traveler and foodie, I often judge the restaurant by the quality of bread they give you- it says a lot about the place! There, they brought us old, chewy loaf boring bread

I’ll start with I’m a northerner and was expecting to pay “London prices” but I cannot state enough that it is worth every penny here! The STAFF are courteous, well informed, and (I wish I could remember one of our server’ name - was Macedonian) was delightful from helping pick the food, telling us where it came from and teaching us about cold Turkish rice pudding that we have to try at some point. The FOOD. There aren’t enough compliments for the food here. I had a Wagyu fillet and half a lobster and it is by far the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten. The only thing I could ask of this place is, could you please open a restaurant in Durham!!

Fabulous Evening Meal with Friends

I have eaten here several times and its always been great! Started with cocktails at the bar whilst waiting for the rest of our party before sitting down to a great meal with excellent wine choices. Meat at the Parish has a fabulous ambience and the staff are knowledgeable, its clear they have a passion for food and drink. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Windsor support this local independent it deserves it!

This place is average for the prices they charge. Firstly on entering was not shown to table the man just pointed to the table and I had to move it slightly due to how small the areas is to fit dinners there. They also charge a service charge you wouldn't mind paying if the service is very good but this was poor the lady who took our order was not interested and looked like she didn't want to be there staff must remember if we was not there you wouldn't have a job! The food is average came out warm not hot...my bill was in the region of £160 didn't pay service charge and the look on his face ....must remember we don't need to pay this!!
