Meat at the Parish didn’t put a foot wrong with out fabulous lunch and great service. We keep coming back…

Absolutely LOVE this place! Arguably one of the best steakhouses I’ve been to and believe me I’ve been to a lot… friendly and attentive staff. Family run which is a lovely touch. If you haven’t been here, you really should.

It was an evening of note! Everything was superb, and I mean everything! From the quality of the food, to the attention to detail in the service, its a grand opus! Daniel and Charlie were our significant hosts but Jessie also played her part in...the experience. My boss is over from the US. Has been staying in Windsor and kept passing this restaurant. So glad he wanted to try it as the food and service were excellent. The bloomin onion and fillet steak were delicious and all the servers were extremely...friendly. Would recommend in a heart beat and can't wait to return again in the future!More

A perfect spot on the high street with a varied menu. The team were really welcoming and helped with advice when selecting from the menu. The best fillet steak we have had in a long time. Had a wonderful meal the food was really good and came out quick the prawn cocktail was fresh loverly atmosphere the staff are friendly which was nice couldn’t fault a thing I will definitely be coming back. The apple crumble is superb.

I am really not one to give bad review lightly as I run a business myself and I know how harsh / petty some people can be HOWEVER.... I have never in my 25 years of existence had such shocking customer service, let alone in...a restaurant, I'm talking customer service in general. It was my fathers birthday and he ordered a steak. Firstly we were told by a young waiter with serious attitude problems that one dish wasn't available that two of us had ordered and so 'one of us would have to order something else unless we (me and my mother) wanted to go for a scrap outside for the fish'. An unbelievable thing to say to a customer. An incorrect meal was served to my father and we politely told the same young waiter that this wasn't what we ordered. He grunted back 'That is what you ordered Ive got it on my paper and so you are wrong'. All 4 of us were gobsmacked what had just been said and my brother said to another young waiter 'is that a correct way to speak to a paying customer.' The young waiter said 'why you being rude' in his face. Another waiter dropped a glass by accident and the first horrible young waiter said 'if he does that again I'll sack him'. The only thing that needs to get sacked is your attitude and your stupid haircut. After being served our food, we were completely ghosted and ignored by the two young waiters and our plates were left out on the table for 30 minutes. After speaking to the owner about this, he was apologetic and offered us free food and drinks. After we simply asked for the bill, he persisted, offering us free food, cocktails and desserts in a desperate, insincere attempt to rescue his restaurant from a one 1* review. Food was very good, service was excellent. Steak was cooked well, but flavour was not to my personal liking. The starters were superb. I had beetroot with goats cheese, which was stunning. Things to know, relaxed dress code, fair priced wine, great food, approx 110...quid a head with 3 courses two bottles of wine and service is included. Would recommend and would go again.More

Absolutely beautiful meal, the service was spot on (especially Charlotte who was very knowledgeable and helpful when we were stuck deciding), music was perfect, atmosphere was exactly what we wanted and the food was outstanding, my steak was cooked to perfection (or not cooked as...the case may be, as unlike it blue). We hadn’t visited MATP for a few years but opted to go again recently for my husband’s birthday and was really impressed. Service was brilliant, food was fantastic and cocktails were great. It is expensive but definitely worth it for a treat or special occasion.

average restaurant, extremely over priced and considering it specialises in steak they couldn’t cook it the way we requested.
