Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

When a friend suggested we eat here my initial thought was that as much as I like sushi occasionally I'm not sure I want to pay to eats sushi as an evening meal. No such worries as there was plenty of 'meals' on offer & after a delicious Red Dragon sushi starter I had the Surf & Turf Yakidon - not only delicious but actually left me feeling stuffed. Staff were friendly & restaurant has nice ambience.
I would have marked it as excellent but they have no alcohol license so soft drinks only & a beer would have gone down well with the meal. Looking forward to eating here again in the future.

I have been a few times and I have never been let down but this was genuinely amazing! The waiters let you know that everything is made to order and therefore there may be a wait and my god is it worth the wait! Amazing food. My girlfriend and I love this place and are always amazed by the food! We will be back again for sure :)

Cocktails were fantastic and great food. We had sirloin steak yakisoba that arrived medium rare/rare and beef garlic teriyaki that arrived well done. Both tasted fantastic. The noodles and rice of both dishes were exceptional

Where do I start? Arrived at our booked time and sat at a table upstairs, the waitress took our drinks order, it took forever for them to arrive! (I was also very surprised that my 18 year old wasn't asked for proof of age for her cocktail as she looks young everywhere else asks!) we ordered our food, some of which they didn't have. After about 45 minutes I went downstairs to ask where our food was? We were told something about the oven switching off? we couldn't really understand what the waitress was taking about?? We eventually got 1 side and about 30 mins later another appeared, we had to virtually beg for the others! after that I think they completely forgot we were there and I had to go down twice to find out about our mains. We eventually got the mains which were awful, my husband didn't eat his, my chicken was dry and hard and my son said his beef dish was well overcooked. I had also asked for no rice on my plate and got a massive portion of rice (Which I hate!) the waitress didn't seem to know what to do about that? I will also add that I asked if I could have noodles instead of rice but they refused that so had to pay extra for a bowl of completely tasteless soggy plain noodles. Our booking stated we had the table from 6.30 until 7.45pm, we hadn't even had all our starters by then, the mains arrived ages after 7.45pm. We did speak to the manager who just gave excuse after excuse, total waste of time speaking to him and a total waste of £100 and ruined my daughters A level celebration meal! From start to finish it was awful, I can't think of a single good thing to say about it! Service was the worst we have ever experienced, I'm not even sure the waitresses understood what we were saying? As we were upstairs I'm sure we had been completely forgotten about, things only happened when we went down on several occasions. The place itself was far from clean, the stairs in particular need a good scrub. It is extremely rare for me to complain about anything but this was way over my limit!

Food is good hence why we have given it a chance but all three times we have been the service has been awful. Last time we had to ask for our drinks three times, they took 20 mins to arrive and food over 45 mins. Considering that the restaurant was virtually empty all three times we have been this is ridiculous. And then they have the cheek to include a hefty service charge. Never again.

I did really like INTOKU and have used them a lot since they arrived in Windsor despite them being the most expensive. The sushi was good, some days better than others, they were always late with the delivery by at least 30 minutes which was frustrating but I didn't mind. Now they've added an additional £8.50 delivery charge that was never there before I don't think I'll use them again. £8.50 is a lot to add on to an already expensive order when you consider that they never turn up on time and they've previously delivered to me without charging delivery. Most delivery places negate the delivery cost if you order over a certain value and I've never made an order from there that's been less than £50.

This is the second time I have visited and have been disappointed with the service.
I was with my disabled family member who is a wheelchair user, I didn’t find the service great as we seemed to have been forgotten on many occasion. I tried to wave to get staff attention despite there being 3 FOH and 2 chef, not one person noticed.
This led me to leave, and weren’t be coming back to this place again.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. It’s a really cute and cosy restaurant that has a warm feel to it with the help of the team.
We had cucumber maki, crab uramaki and salmon nigiri which were all beautifully presented and tasted amazing! We also had the takoyaki and bao buns.
Will definitely be recommending this and can’t wait to go back!

We visited the Chelsea branch in Old Brompton Road to see for ourselves what these good reviews were about. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a lovely green foliage with the restaurant’s name on the wall. Already made us feel welcome and at home. Then we were seated in a table with comfortable seats and we loved the soft music in the background. We enjoyed our food and I highly recommend the sushi platters and the edamame! We also ordered tempura prawns, crispy squid and the bao buns. Everything was very flavourful and delicious. A little bit busy when we were there because there was a big group celebrating a family birthday, I guess. But our overall experience was really very positive and we will be coming back to this place!
Just be reminded that the restaurant have other branches and I am sharing my experience at their Chelsea branch.

Visited Intoku with my family for dinner and had a brilliant experience. The food was delicious and fresh - we particularly enjoyed the Dragon Rolls and Firecracker Rice. A special thank you to our hostess Anjali, who was so lovely all evening and took care of us. Amazing customer service Anjali - you are an asset to Intoku!

Tucked away by the castle on the cobbled street you will find this absolutely treasure of a restaurant. Found by chance via an Instagram pop up ad. Greeted by wonderful personable staff on entry ,you can see the chefs freshly preparing all the sushi from scratch. The food was deliciously divine! Teriyaki aubergine, Beef and katsu curry were incredible all so flavoursome . Great portion sizes and very good prices considering how close to the castle it is. Cute quirky building. My only negative is that I didn’t find this place sooner before now! I will be returning again I really can’t recommend this place enough.

The food was absolutely delicious! it came quickly so we didn’t wait long. It all tasted fresh and they really don’t hold back on the flavour. I am a long time customer of theirs. However there is one thing and that it has become more costly. over the year, they have raised their prices by around £3. There Pokè used to be £8 and now it’s around £10.50. This has caused me to lessen my visits a lot but i still visit on occasions.

We visited Intoku while staying at Legoland, my husband, myself and our two grandsons, ages 3 and 9. Everything was just perfect and the food exemplary. They provided a simple dish of chicken and rice for the 3 year old. Absolutely cannot fault this place, we will visit Windsor to go back to this restaurant! (We are in North Yorkshire)

Ive had nights out with friends in the restaurant and ordered for delivery as well. Always been happy with my orders for both. Restaurant has great vibes and staff is always very friendly. Sushi is great and love other dishes as well like Katsu curry, gyoza and bao buns! Price is reasonable for the food you get and I would recommend any sushi lovers to give it try!!!!

Intoku offers great food and a fantastic service to accompany it - we genuinely had a fantastic visit here whilst having a quick trip to Windsor. Don't judge a book by its cover regarding the aesthetics of the restaurant (because it does look like a 70's tea room), the food and the service do all the talking here!! The California Roll was a real standout from the food we ordered, but even then it was hard to pick a standout as it was all so good. If I had to be critical, my own personal taste would have preferred the Kaarage Chicken bun not to have a soy sauce-base sauce as it was quite salty, but other than that, I will visit again the next time we visit Windsor!
