Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After a early morning cycle through the Great Park, breakfast was called for and this establishment did not disappoint. Though it was busy, there was plenty of seating and all socially distanced. Contact details were required and hand sanitiser was provided. Plenty of choice on the menu for all tastes for breakfast. I went for the Full Monty. Service was swift and the food was excellent. Worth discovering.

Friendly cafe offering good, well priced coffees (and also a decent size large coffee) + a great £5 deal for breakfast roll/panini and coffee. Quick service and really nice staff. As it is off the beaten track it is a lot quieter than the high street coffee shops mobbed by tourists.

My partner and 6 year old child had a trip to Windsor today, it was 35c outside and we didn’t know where we were going up eat, spotted the inviting exterior of Monty and headed in. Nicely air conditioned cafe we were seated in seconds and ordered soon after from the British style menu. “Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had”, my partner said, my ham, eggs and chips were delicious too. My son also enjoyed his kids meal and his chocolate desert, I found room for waffle and ice cream. Great prices, great food, great service!

We got in and we’re shown to a very small table. Incredibly loud and my partner & I couldn’t hear each other even from a short distance. Took a long time to be served, even after catching the attention of a waitress twice. Tables that came in after us were served before we were. I suggested we left but the partner was hungry. Food is incredibly basic. I should think the staff do a Tesco run in the mornings to pick up Hovis sliced bread, & McCain oven chips. My ham, egg & chips consisted of damp ham which came straight from a packet, one slice of bread and some rather sorry looking eggs. I was expecting some properly fried chips but they were 100% oven chips. I should have listened to the reviews. How hard can it be to serve some decent bread and better quality ingredients? I’m struggling to understand how this place is so busy when all they serve is the basics. But if that’s what you like then fair enough.

We had an overnight stay in Windsor without a breakfast thrown in so decided to wander down Peascod Street, which is pretty much the main street through the town, to see what took our fancy. We weren't up particularly early and I recognised some of the recommended establishments that I had researched but none struck us as that appealing. When we reached the end of Peascod we thought we'd just keep going straight on for a bit longer and this is when we happened upon Monty's! It was the vibe that appealed to us - it had a hustle and bustle about it without being too busy - gave us a feel that this was where the locals came, which is always a good sign to me. Anyway, the service was friendly, the coffee was hot and delicious and we enjoyed one of the best Eggs Benedict that we have had in a long time. Would thoroughly recommend taking a longer walk to seek out Monty's Cafe to anyone!

Pretty poor food. Asked for a simple scrambled eggs & crispy bacon. What I got was egg pie! The scrambled eggs were stacked in a cylindrical shape like a pie. They were so overcooked they happily stood up on their own. They seemed microwaved. The bacon was sloppy and wet - not crispy. I did not eat it. They assured me the egg was not microwaved and that they simply cook it in a dish. But tbh this is then NOT scrambled eggs. In fairness to them, they did not attempt to charge me for the uneaten food. The restaurant is clean & tidy in a nice part of town and the coffee was nice.

Utterly delicious breakfast and brunch options are available here, and hands-down they offer the tastiest eggs florentine anywhere! They also service yummy lunches with jacket potatoes as big as your head and the most perfect chevre salaf. \they never scrimp on quality or portion sizes. You will always find seasonal, tasty and well-presented fare in a modern and pretty setting in the heart of Windsor with the friendlist staff. My kids adore their pancakes and milkshakes too! I highly recommend a visit. It's one of our favourites.

We called into day for a short snack at lunchtime and chose the chicken and mushroom soup. It was homemade and fantastic. Followed by a coffee. Excellent food, superb service and premises very clean. Highly recommend.

We visited in early afternoon and used their takeaway service. The prices seemed very reasonable considering it is in the centre of Windsor. We ordered two panini’s and chips- the chicken tikka panini was bland and seemed to have basic supermarket filling (more like coronation chicken) but the brie and bacon was lovely. Chips were slightly soggy. Excellent coffee. Staff were not wearing face masks.

We were absolutely impressed by the service, but most of all the drinks and food was delicious. The strawberry juice was made fresh and I honestly never had one like this. We had one of the best chai's ever and we really are a chai lovers. Highly recommend!

We had Full English breakfasts and my daughter had poached eggs and avocado. The eggs on all three plates were over cooked and had hard yolks, the bacon was undercooked and the fat on the bacon looked raw. Sausage and hash brown was nice. Overpriced at £12.50 when there are brasseries up the road which offer a better quality of food for a similar price. It was empty too which I think speaks volumes. Won't be returning. Shame as always enjoyed previous meals.

This is the undisputed #1 place for breakfast. The staff are always smiling despite being continuously packed out due to their success. One lady in particular is very personable. Their fry ups hit the spot, although I'm partial to a simple scrambled eggs with salmon. They have Sunday mornings down to a fine art.

Immaculate- friendly-delicious! My family and I enjoyed a perfect breakfast here. The cafe staff were so friendly and food was amazing. Kids loved their pancake stack, my husband loved his full Monty and I thought my poached eggs and avocado was amazing. Highly recommend

Less than average breakfast. Disappointed by a poached egg Benedict with salmon/avocado. The 2 eggs looked like coming out of a pre-made microwaveable sachet. Perfectly domed and plasticky looking and tasting. Please do not charge premium prices if you cannot cook a proper poached egg from scratch.

1st visit since the lockdown. Went for brunch and wasn’t disappointed. There was plenty of tables to choose from and the service was quick and efficient. The menu is simple but well executed for a reasonable price. Our waiter was a young man who was extremely polite and was obviously new to the job but great to see him trying his best ( we have all had to start a new job). The coffee there is good also. Nice friendly vibe that a lot of locals use
