Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We like the restaurant as they create a stylish yet friendly ambience accompanied by good food. Staff are well trained , polite, cheerful, helpful and efficient. Having a small kitchen there is a limited choice for the main course but there are sufficient to satisfy...most palates . Lovely amuse bouche pre dinner. Starters :- tiger prawns in basket , seafood assiette , both excellent. Mains :- lamb shank , duck. Lamb shank is a dish you rarely do at home and not many restaurants have it so really enjoyable. Dessert :- creme brulee , apple + something I have forgotten crumble . Very nice crumble. Creme brulee itself very good but served not in a bowl but on an inedible disc . You can have drinks beforehand in the lounge with nice open fire. Parking can be a problem.More

Another perfect Christmas dinner. The service and food here are just the best. We’ve been coming for Christmas dinner now for a number of years and the hospitality offered by Barbara, Chris, Ellie and the team is outstanding. We simply love it.

Due to reasons out of our hands, we had not visited since 2019. Our party of four were so looking forward to the evening and were not disappointed. Somehow , the alround quality was surpassed (again) and we had a truly memorable meal. Holly and...Ellie were very proficient servers and the meal quality was exactly as we had hoped for.More

Returned here Sunday after not visiting for far too long. For me it’s still the best in Malvern by far. Quality and service of food is just amazing and given the quality the price is excellent value for money. A real hidden gem

We dined here for Sunday lunch last week and it was just phenomenal!! Couldn’t disagree more with the review below. Myself and my partner both agreed that it was one of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had! Everything was amazing, delicious gravy, perfectly...cooked vegetables and the best crispy roast potatoes. We both then had just enough room to squeeze in a sticky toffee pudding and it was divine. We received such a warm welcome and fabulous service so it really was the perfect afternoon. Thank you so much to all involved- we can’t wait to come back.More

Started off brilliantly, warm friendly reception and very attentive service. Drinks were prompt and very good and the decor and setting is absolutely lovely. We had the Sunday lunch menu and both had the smoked salmon starter which was beautifully presented and very nice. Then...the Sunday roasts arrived and things went south rather quickly. I had the ‘best of both’ with both beef and pork which sadly omitted both apple sauce and stuffing, despite being described as ‘with all the trimmings’. My wife had the roast beef, which bizarrely was served with both apple sauce and the black pudding stuffing from the roast pork option. Clearly whomever was plating up wasn’t very attentive. Whilst the meats and roast potatoes were good, sadly the rest of it was rather tasteless. The vegetables were bland and needed seasoning; both the parsnips and Yorkshire pudding appeared to have been cooked much earlier in the day and then warmed up - the Yorkshire pudding in particular was dry and tasteless. Equally, the gravy, whilst plentiful was watery and had no depth of flavour and the cauliflower cheese sauce was not cheesy in the slightest. If I were judging this meal as an average pub roast I’d have given it 3 stars, but bearing in mind both the premium price and the expectation set of ‘Malvern’s finest dining experience’ it certainly wasn’t food wise, so sadly only 2 stars. We can only assume that their Sunday roasts are not reflective of their usual standards and we will return to try a weekday evening meal - fingers crossed…More

The venue was attractive, Service was professional. We had a very pleasant french sauvignon blanc. The starter, unfortunately, consisted of overcooked, rubbery prawns in a (mostly) soggy filo pastry basket. The main course was nicely cooked chicken, spoilt by an overseasoned (salty) sauce, accompanied by...good-quality dauphinoise potato (could have done with more!), undercooked french beans and a vegetable that should never appear on a dinner plate-celery. All- in- all, a real mixture.More

It's an imposing Victorian building a short walk from the town centre and although it looks a little formal, don't be put off as the welcome, service and food at L'Amuses Bouche are all excellent. We enjoyed a full three courses and although there isn't...a huge choice, we tried a variety of the dishes and they were universally great. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere informal and we would certainly visit again. Highly recommended and a lovely place for a meal.More

We had visited for food previously and it was so good we decided to book for our anniversary and so glad we did. After a warm welcome we were seated and were brought out mushroom veloute - delicious! We had the goats cheese and leek...& nettle soup to start and again they were delicious! From the Mains we chose the steak and lamb shank, both cooked perfectly and the lamb fell off the bone. Apparently the creme brulee was also a winner and I enjoyed the petit fours served with the coffee. Attentive service and some really tasty food meant we had a lovely evening, we will definitely returnMore
