Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very nice evening - there was an interesting choice of courses as well as a good variety of drink. The restaurant area was relaxed, staff very helpful and we enjoyed a view of the Priory through the window whilst eating. Been a few times...already and look forward to going back again soon!More

We enjoyed a delicious meal, the staff were super friendly and efficient. The restaurant is comfortable, the music at a perfect volume, enough to be enjoyed and allows for easy conversation. Great views over Malvern and beyond from the restaurant and the outside seating area....Perfect and highly recommend!!More

Made to feel very welcome had a afternoon tea as a birthday gift. A lot of choice of sandwiches and cakes. Presented very well, just the right amount of attention from staff. Would recommend and go again.

The place is absolutely soulless - went for lunch - firstly the rare in the rare beef sandwich was not referring to how long it’d been cooked (which was certainly not rare) and more to do with how difficult it was to find in the...sandwich. Fries were good but £10 for a sandwich and chips is extortionate. Side salad was surprisingly good and the Madri was the best I’ve ever had and the waitress was great but not worth the cheap furniture and off brand Disney album you had to sit through. Also the toilets were appalling.More

Went here for my mum’s birthday meal, went here a few years ago and loved it.We went here Because they had loads of gluten free food and I am gluten free. However went back today, the gluten free options were so limited they only really had salad and...a vegan burger but without the fries as the gluten free fries would have to be cooked in the same fryer as the gluten containing fries and to charge 15 quid is absolutely out of order if you can’t have fries!!!!!!!!Thats why I’m giving one star to the value section. Also they used to have so many options, went at lunch time today same as before so this review is a reflection on the lunch menu.I’ve never known a restaurant to have so many gluten free options and then limit them, nor is it acceptable.Waitress was lovely though, went out and went to Aldwyns.More

We had a long weekend in Malvern with friends. We had pre-booked the Mulberry Tree based on previous reviews. My wife and I both enjoyed a perfectly roasted chicken breast in a mouthwatering leek sauce. Sides and house wine were reasonably priced. Service from Ben...and colleagues was very friendly and also efficient (on a very warm evening- so they worked hard too!) This restaurant clearly have a strong kitchen team and are to be highly commended!More

OK place. Service a little slow mind and food overpriced. No atmosphere either. There is better on offer in malvern for sure.

This was our second visit for an evening meal with family. Excellent service throughout so we felt looked after by a smiling and friendly waiter. We all had 3 courses and every dish was well presented and very tasty. In particular the smoked salmon en...croute was a great starter, the rump steak was cooked as requested and the lemon cup dessert was creamy & refreshing and perfect in filo pastry cups. We will definitely return.More

My wife and I had not been able to re-visit this lovely hotel/restaurant for health reasons and we had missed the warm welcome, service and comfort. Today we returned to find the same positive qualities from Naz, Hayley and Bilal, all of whom were good-natured,...good-humoured and made us feel valued customers. We were able to relax immediately and will be happy to return here on a regular basis. Thank you!More

I booked this lunch for my wife's birthday. We were received with courtesy and everyone was very welcoming. My wife is a vegetarian and does not eat fish or meat. There were very limited options available both in the lunch and dining menu despite the...effort of the staff who trued to help. Jackfruit, for some reason, seemed to be the vegetable of choice. The starters had spinach and courgette fritters which on the outside appeared burnt. The soup was good. The fish was good but the chips were bordering on the warm. The dessert 'filo cups of lemon curd' we ordered was unfortunately neither good to look at nor tasty. The 'edible flowers' we expected didn't quite turn up with the dish. We were expecting a sprinkling of colourful flowers. Overall, I am sure this is an excellent place for those who enjoy a steak or two or a sunday roast. Despite the excellent staff, we left disapppointed. Will we back? My wife certainly will not. And I am not sure I can convince her to change her mind.More

Another excellent Sunday lunch and a warm welcome and great service from the Duty Manager Alex and Jacks. We were also served by 2 other members of staff who were equally keen to ensure that we enjoyed our experience. The food was great quality and...quantity and great value at £13.50 for a roast beef meal with lots of trimmings. We have recently become loyal customers at this cosy hotel/restaurant, both for Sunday lunch and morning coffee during the week. Thank you!More

Myself and some friends visited for afternoon tea. The Restaurant is lovely and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The afternoon tea itself was however mostly disappointing. The bread on the sandwiches was quite dry and hard in places, as if they had been...sitting around for a while. There was no option for plain scones, it was raisin only, unless pre ordered in advance which wasn’t mentioned or made clear anywhere at the time of booking. The scones were also quite crispy and hard. The cakes were the best part, lemon slice, Rocky road and bakewell slice, all of which tasted very nice. There weren’t many options for tea either but we had hot chocolate which was nice and was made extra hot as requested. All in all it was a nice setting and nice staff but the food could have been better.More

My wife and I have just returned home after dinner at The Mulberry Tree to celebrate my birthday and we both said how much we enjoyed it. The atmosphere was excellent the service was excellent and the food and drink were good. The only niggle...is that the menu is limited, especially starters so we had the cheeseboard and it didn’t disappoint. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.More
