I am sorry that your toddler went hungry and that you were disappointed. However, it is so upsetting to receive such a review when we are struggling to reopen after lockdown. Small pubs such as ourselves are finding it very difficult to adjust to the...More

Not much to look at in the Outside- but inside you will find a typical cosy pub with fantastic staff. Drinks menu brilliant and Sunday lunch was glorious. I wish I lived nearby. Roast dinner served with medley of potatoes (all served in dishes to...share save for the roast potatoes) 4 different veg in separate bowls to share and plenty of luscious gravy. Puddings were fab too.More

We took our son to a wood cabin down in the valley of Goginan. We had booked to go into Aberystwyth to eat on the monday evening as our only night out of the trip. I got an email on Monday to say that the...restaurant I'd booked was closed on Monday's. Turned out to be a blessing because we popped up the hill to Druids and were welcomed warmly. Nothing was too much trouble and my son who was disappointed that he wasn't going to get calamari couldn't believe it when he walkd in to see calamari on the special board. It is small inside but cosy and like I said, very welcoming! I've walked in to some village pubs and walked straight back out but not here. Staff were really friendly. The food was amazing! I had lamb steak and the portion was very generous, hubby had lasagna and he said it was amazing and son had asked if he could have the calamari as main and they were happy to accommodate. I'd definitely reccomend this pub to anyone local or visiting the area!More

Very friendly staff who were very welcoming. Great value for food for homemade food that had a very small wait to be serviced. A steak and ale pie, a chicken, ham and leek pie both serviced with chips, a pint and a J2O totalled to...around £27. The portion size was very good which is the reason the pudding menu was not explored. This will be worth a return visit.More

One of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had. Five of us had lamb which was gorgeous and generous. This was accompanied by roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding and loads of seasonal vegetables plus a jug of gravy. We had apple crumble and brownie for...desert they were lovely. This was all for £13.50 each. The staff were outstanding, nothing too much trouble and so friendly plus cracking beer.More

Great pub and good food. BUT why do you let people vape in the bar? I will not be returning anytime soon. I do not wish to be exposed to the fumes especially while eating. Just because they are local doesn’t give them the right...to break the law an spoil other people’s experiences.More
