The cheesecake was really nice. The service was really good. The lady behind the bar really knew about the beers and wines. She talked my boyfriend into trying... More

I have never been served Sunday Lunch in a bowl before. Everything was piled on top of one another and it was not your traditional Sunday Lunch as it states on the website. The beef was undercooked and fatty. The small amount of mash was hidden underneath the meat and the extra gravy we asked for came in a milk... More

Our third visit in a year, appears even better every time. The food is of first class quality as well as the service, plus an excellent range of local beer. Absolute faultless and worth the drive off the beaten track.

Visited whilst staying with my daughter in Borth- about 30 minutes drive. Daughter and partner visit regularly so we were going based on their recommendation. We were not disappointed as the food was beautiful: fresh; good sized but not too large portions; varied dishes available, particularly for vegetarians; well presented and served promptly. We arrived for 5:30 to find the... More

We eat at Y Ffarmers fairly regularly and are always very happy with it. When I book I just say there is one vegan and they always produce something wonderful. Yesterday the nut roast was amazing. Perfect texture, proportions and flavour. For the non vegan the white chocolate cheesecake was total delight. Quite probably the best ever. We all went... More

Tried this place once on our little getaway, and loved it so much we went back 2 days later. Food is fantastic, well presented, and reasonably priced. The selection of Ale's was great as well. Staff were very friendly and food came out quickly. Can't recommend this little gem enough!

Had Sunday lunch at Y Ffarmers which was very good and good value. 3 courses for 4 people plus drinks (beer/ coke etc) came to only just over £100. Delicious food well cooked and sourced, much very local. High praise to roast beef, lamb and apple pie. Good service and a lovely old building: what's not to like?

Visit once or twice a year for lunch with relatives - wonderful food in a peaceful village location. Local foods cooked and presented to a very high standard. Sunday lunches in particular are excellent.
