I feel bad writing a negative review, especially during a pandemic, but I was definitely disappointed after hearing so many good things about this place. I chose the burger and although that itself was quite tasty, the cheap bun fell apart making the meal difficult...to eat. For the price I was also surprised by the pre-bought skinny fries instead of something home cut. However, the restaurant itself is beautiful and we both enjoyed our cocktails and donuts.More

Had a meal here with my wife and our son. It was difficult to choose because there were so many lovely-sounding options on the menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals - quite simply not only the best vegan food we've ever had, but some...of the best food. Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere as well. If we lived locally, we'd be here all the time.More

Came here with my family, 3 of them are vegetarians, so we thought this would be the perfect place for a meal... We were not disappointed, food was really tasty, portion sizes were great, the staff were very helpful. Will definitely be coming back again.

I'm vegetarian and my partner is an omnivore. Having been let down by a nearby pub, my partner suggested we see if Voltaire had space. Luckily, they were able to squeeze us in. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We both had burgers, and...they were fantastic. The staff are so friendly and polite, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I had a rocky road sundae for dessert (think it was a special; wasn't on the menu), which was incredible. Came complete with cream and marshmallows. This place is definitely worth a visit, whether you're vegan or not!More

Whether you’re vegan or not, this restaurant will have something for you. The food isn’t just great vegan food, it’s great food full stop. The portions are generous and everything they served to our group was class. It would be top of my list the...next time I’m in Bangor.More

Came to Wales to do Zip World, but it's Voltaire I will be talking about when I go home. Just had the most amazing meal here, no words can do it justice, but I cannot recommend the Slow Boat to China highly enough. And the...staff and atmosphere are just lovely. Worth coming to Wales just for this.More

Delicious food, great friendly service, good portions and a nice ambience, what's not to love. Possibly the finest dirty fries I have ever tasted.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome between 12 - 3, but unfortunately not for evening meals. Hope this helps!
