We pass two "spoons" and travel 30 miles particularly on Steak night as food and service is great bearing in mind that Bangor is a student town and the pub can be very busy at times

This establishment is constantly relatively busy and has a regular flow of customers. It is highly recommended by locals as an affordable lunch spot. In my experience we have always received pleasant service, good food and an enjoyable time.

Average price for an average meal. Not too busy so plenty of space to sit and the staff are friendly too. Would come back!

Visited a few times but this time was terrible. One bar staff on and the place was full so took to min to order. My food took 90 min to be served so I was nearly ready to walk out. One waitress serving and ran off her feet. Tables not cleaned. Won't be coming again.

We arrived for lunch today, table was sticky and glasses were on there, someone came over to clean it up, and she said she would come back and wipe the table, she didn't. So the table was left sticky. Food was good. Nothing special.

I used to visit this pub regularly ,they make a mean godfather and the perfect hang over fixing full English breakfast for less than 5 pounds BUUUTTT Recently I was denied service due to my ID not being a British ID (clearly they have some Brexit supporters amongst their ranks). I dealt with this you know like regulations and everything... More

Came here last week after not being here for a few months. The menu is typical wetherspoons, great value for money and good selection to choose from. Our bill was £33 for a family of four which is extremely good value. The dining area is looking a bit tired and could do with updating but looked clean and tidy enough.... More

Visited on Friday lunchtime for some lunch with friends. We all came in, sat down and went to order our food. Each person ordered separately and everyone's food arrived promptly. The problems stated when a friends meal was incorrect. She politely told the waitress it wasn't what she had ordered but the waitress insisted it was correct, persuading her to... More
