Came here last week after not being here for a few months. The menu is typical wetherspoons, great value for money and good selection to choose from. Our bill was £33 for a family of four which is extremely good value. The dining area is looking a bit tired and could do with updating but looked clean and tidy enough.... More

Visited on Friday lunchtime for some lunch with friends. We all came in, sat down and went to order our food. Each person ordered separately and everyone's food arrived promptly. The problems stated when a friends meal was incorrect. She politely told the waitress it wasn't what she had ordered but the waitress insisted it was correct, persuading her to... More

I have been to this Wetherspoons many times before and have had very mixed results but tonight really took the biscuit. I ordered the vegetarian Mediterranean vegetable lasagna which has been nice in the past but tonight I received it to find a lasagna made only out of green pesto, suspicious smelling cheese and lasagna sheets; not a single vegetable... We tried here again as there are new items on the menu. I tried the new the lamb shank and opted for chips instead of mash. It came with parsnips, carrots and a rich gravy. It was a huge shank. full of meat and well cooked. It was £9.99 including a selected drink. My wife ordered the vegetarian wellington, but... More

We had dinner and lunch here on two separate days. Both meals were very good, no complaints. I had the Chicken Tikka and it was first class. The meal combos are good value. We couldn't believe how cheap the meals were. Greta value. A real good buzz about in the evenings.

I am fond of wetherspoons and normally have a pleasant meal, shame the same could not be said today! Went in for breakfast, it was empty yet there was dirty plates on a lot of tables, my partner went to the bar and a waiter told him he would be two minutes, that was fine however after waiting over five... Having 4 children we often go to Weatherspoons around the country. But never this one again. On arrival all the tables were full of dirty plates and glasses. We sat down and moved them to one side thinking they would be cleared!!. After choosing what to eat my partner and myself went up to order. This took a very long... More

Blink and you could miss this place! Stumbled across it by accident when I was stuck in traffic outside. Food is great, price is great, layout great and caters for all young and old. Seemed to be a big hit with the students from Bangor Uni. Staff extremely polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit
