Tucked away up some stairs just off the main high street, a friend suggested we meet for lunch. The space is bright and comfortable, a huge selection of loose leaf teas (too many to remember but you'll definitely find something lovely), great quality coffee and fresh, delicious food and cakes. Service is fantastic, staff are fab and I live that... More

Blue sky is hidden up an alleyway in Bangor. A definite hidden treasure, well worth a visit. The cafe serves locally sourced food and fair trade teas and coffees. The cafe has a cosy atmosphere and the staff are always very friendly and attentive

I love Blue Sky and their eclectic menu. There is something for everyone on the menu which is great for people in a big group or those who like to mix it up. Service is always cheery is as well. The new menu has many more options (especially vegan), however you don't get a big salad with burgers anymore which... More

Great great place for breakfast. Scramble eggs are scrambled egg but the ones served there are the best I've ever had. Great tasting mushrooms and thick beard. Lovely smoothie. Great seating areas with different chairs. Would definitely be back.

Rated so highly as the food was fresh, healthy and delicious. I ordered the Greek salad and my friend ordered the falafel basket (falafels with a salad stuffed pitta, with chips on the side). Both of us really enjoyed the food and it didn't feel like we were being too naughty! However, you have to queue to order your own... More

This cafe/restaurant is tucked away up a little alleyway off high street. First impressions were that it was a bit chaotic. We found a table near but had to remove varous plates. It was interesting that these plates contained mounds of chips. I am the organic/vegetarian cafe owner' s cafe as my taste beds find cheese to be totally repellent,... More

The food is fine - usually very healthy...but boy do you have to wait for it. The girl at the till is extremely ditsy. On a normal Saturday lunch it'll take you at least 15-25 minutes waiting in the queue to order. Then, if lucky, your order, which they often get wrong the first time, may arrive half an hour... We were walking up the main street at lunch time and spotted this place up an alley. Had a welcoming feel. I had butternut squash and ginger soup intending to have a light lunch but the soup was gorgeous so I ate the lot! Would definitely go back here and would like to visit in an evening some time.

Popped in here during the afternoon for a drink and snack. Great selection on the menu, being spoilt for choice, settled for the pea & ham soup which was tasty and filling. Loved the general busy vibe and ambience without it being noisy and unpleasant. Returned later in the evening to take in a gig - really cosy, intimate and... More
