Returned to this cafe after a lovely lunch previously. My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our paninis served with a lovely side salad and potato wedges. Service with a smile as always. Thanks

Went to eat here with my son.. The drinks where flat!! The cheese on the pizza was runny!!! And the flavour was nasty, it also took 35 mins to make... Never go there again

Been here a couple of times through lack of other lunchtime cafes available rather than choice. Always felt it was over-priced for average food. Today I had a soup and sandwich combination. The soup was watery as anything. I'm assuming it was because it was the end of the lunch sitting and it was a way of stretching what was... More

The cafe has been at this location since the 1930's. The Gentleman is the 4th generation of his family to serve coffee and snacks here. The coffee is the highlight, it's very good. The menu is limited and a little expensive. That said, the staff are friendly and everything is made fresh. A little gem to be honest.

Yes this cafe could do with some tender loving care on the inside (way too much fake pine effect for my liking) but the food was spot on for my quick lunch. I ordered cheese burger and chips. Chips were grease free and piping hot and the burger was also hot and very tasty. The young waiter was polite and... More

Reasonably tidy in appearance over all. Food reasonably priced but not much ham on the ham cheese and pineapple sandwich! Toilets wasnt working and was quite disgusting but the staff responded immediately after I'd complained. Staff were pleasant and friendly. OK but the owner needs to do better.

We've eaten here twice recently. The cafe itself looks much better from the outside, and could do with some serious modernising internally. First time we came for breakfast, neither of us were impressed and felt it was massively overpriced for poor quality, and small portions. On that visit I was however intrigued with the menu and the Italian dishes on... More

Went for breakfast, and a full welsh. £6.95 each, which isn't bad at all, food was good and didn't take too long considering there was only two of us there. My bill came to £19.90!!!which means one tea and coffee were 3 quid each!!! ROBBERY! The sausages were very poor quality. Zero atmosphere there, even when customers did arrive. The... More
