Cauliflower cheese made with mozzarella, like elastic bands. Someone has tried really hard to do well here but they have a long way to go. Meat was nice but way too thickly cut. The potatoes were nice but carrots awful and the parsnips overdosed on honey. Disappointing as we'd heard good things about the cat very Sunday lunch, sorry to... More

we visited The Harp in 2016 and it was really good, we returned this year and were disappointed, the beef was nicely cooked but came with alot of fat, the vegetables unfortunately were tasteless and not very warm, needless to say we didn't stay for dessert. A real disaapointment compared with last year.

Great atmosphere, it is great for drinks or pub lunch. Has always been packed when I have been. They also do a great Christmas Cavery with vegetarian options.

Went in on a Sunday for the carvery and was served by Michael - one of the best barmen in the place, good friendly lad. Great food and drink, good people, good prices.

Had Sunday Carvery and we were really pleased. Had roast beef and pork with loads of well-cooked tasty vegs. Staff were really friendly as were the locals. Had to say 'bye Bob' on way out as everyone said good-bye to him! Lots of locals, all eating, and that's a good sign of good food. Too bad it's 85 miles away... More

Awesome pub. The staff and the £1 a pint nights make this place great. Chris, Leigh and Josh are are some of the best barmen in Bangor. Always a laugh getting served by them. Went out one night and lost my passport somewhere in Bangor, the next time I went to the Harp, Chris the barman told me they had... More
