The Anglesey Arms

Location and contact

The Anglesey Arms is an old building built in 1736 with the traditional wooden beams running throughout the pub. We are right next to the castle itself and built into the castle walls which goes all the way around the town. We are a very popular destination especially in the summer with up to 300-400 people in and around. In the summer more often than not we have live music / bands all day everyday depending on the weather, we have the best views, beer on tap, and food served all day!!

Called here for dinner one night. Both of us had burgers which was very tasty. We sat outside to eat. The only complaint we had loads of dirty plates on tables outside that the seagulls loved

We stopped off here for lunch, service was ok, although we ordered starters and a main course, which both came at the same time, which did not make for a nice experience, due to the flies. Food was ok, not sure we would go there...More

There's a small parking area out the front but much easier is Castle Hill on the south wall of the castle with a very short, flat, walk.
