Nice tasty food, like the place cause it's nice and quiet and can be very private if you pick the correct table. Food is nice and tasty. Would recommend going again

We booked here to catch up with friends and have a meal. I have to say after reading some reviews I was a little apprehensive about booking. However.. I need not have been.. What a lovely place. Food was absolutely gorgeous and the 4 of us agreed. Every meal we had was cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Service... More

Have been frequenting this pub/restaurant for many years and have always enjoyed but yesterday's visit was so very disappointing. The food was very poor indeed luke warm, mushrooms and sauce watery, garlic bread so hard, pasta dish was just acidic tomato paste, the ham and chips not pleasant the only positive was the wine. The service was very slow indeed,... More

We visit the Lamb and Flag regularly to and from our cottage in Snowdonia. We have never been disappointed in the food, service and cleanliness. Normally the service is quick and the staff very friendly and helpful. Haven't had a bad meal and is excellent value for money. Good outdoor space to eat, if our weather permits!

We ate in the pub both nights, the food was average but provided massive portions. The service however was... More

Drove to Brecon Beacons and decided to make a round trip home via Abergavenny. Called in for Sunday lunch having not visited for 2 years. Staff were polite and helpful, the food was brilliant and I cannot understand why it took us so long to return. It will not be long before we return for more.
