I'm a tea drinker and was pleased to see such a variety of loose leaf teas in this lovely little shop. You can choose to sit inside or, on a nice day, sit outside to enjoy your beverage of choice along with the most fantastic freshly baked cake or pastry. They seem to often have fresh seasonal items including a... More

Lovely little coffee shop. Very small but intimate. Was a bit disappointed they didn't take card (2017 people!) but other than that my latte was lovely! Very talented barista. Oh and the pecan cake was scrumptious. Definitely go again when I'm back in Abergavenny.

A fantastic choice of cake, which is always divine, but also serves James of Ross -on-Wye coffee. I couldn't ask for more! Fig Tree Espresso is a small coffee shop, seats about 10 -12, and although you order and pay at the counter, food and drinks are served to your table. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere and is always... More

We go to the Fig Tree for an occasional treat - really good coffee, and fab cakes. It's got a lovely little garden, too, when the weather is good.

Great little coffee shop tucked away in a side street not immediately obvious that it's there. Once inside there are little gems of cake to sample. The chocolate, raspberry and Amaretto cake was great, as was the salted caramel coffee cake. The coffee was good too. Why go to a high street chain coffee shop when you can get much... More

If you visit Abergavenny you need to avoid all high street chain coffee shops and visit here. Excellent quality coffee fantastically made and excellent service provided. The cakes looked amazing too. Small but wonderful. A must visit for anyone

Cosy and simple coffee shop with fabulous homemade cakes with a difference, the coffee here was amazing, the best coffee on our entire two week holiday. Lovely lady who I believe was the owner. Go the independent coffee shop ..... Don't go to costa and Starbucks, support local.

Always guaranteed a tasty lunch from a limited menu so go early to avoid missing out on the delightful and healthy quiches or falafel and the gorgeous cakes. Last visit was with a friend and we shared falafel and Tunisian Orange Cake yummy

great cakes, fruit teas made with tea leaves, good coffee, Lunches are suitable for vegetarians and vegans - something hard to find in Abergavenny. The premises are small, so can get crowded but there is a garden at the back, pleasant on a warm day. It is not suitable for wheelchair-users really because of the limited space. Service is good... Visited here on a Saturday for a take away soya flat white. The coffee used was very nice, soya milk a bit creamier than I'm used to and coffee was tepid in temp but it's definitely the best coffee I've had in Abergavenny so far (comparing Cwtch, Costa and Coffee 1) so I will be revisiting. The cakes looked yummy... More
