We called here for lunch, after a visit to the castle (a short walk away). The staff were very friendly and attentive without being to fussy. Nothing was too much trouble and they couldn’t have been more helpful regarding my dietary requirements. The haddock was...fresh and flavoursome, the chips fluffy inside, crispy on the outside. An all around excellent experience that we would highly recommend - especially to anyone with a gluten intolerance.More

We had planned to go to Galleon fish and chips across the road, but it was closed, so we headed for Fisherman's. Given the circumstances, it was busy and we had to wait ten minutes or so for a table. In fact, they opened the...top floor for us - for which we were very grateful. The staff continued their great service at the table - very attentive, friendly and efficient. We all had the cod special - fish, chips, mushy peas and bread/butter. Good sized portions, well cooked and tasty. The fish was skinless and boneless, as it should be, and was very nice. Would certainly return.More

Had fish and chips here, nice to have fish that tasted good and chips that were cooked nicely and not undercooked. Probably the best fish and chips I have had recently in the area

Excellent fish and chips and also Hollands meat and potato pie. Fish batter was light and crispy and chips were cooked to perfection. We decided to eat upstairs in the restaurant and the service was excellent, quick and efficient. We thought this was the best...fish and chips we had eaten in a long while and North Wales has some cracking Chip Shop's and we have eaten at most!!!!!More

Excellent skinless white fish in a thin batter with freshly fried chips. Friendly, efficient and attentive staff. What more could you possibly ask for?

This was a disappointing visit on a Saturday evening - they even ran out (?) of large fish. Sadly this was not an enjoyable dinner. The waitress however was excellent.

Really good chip shop food, Plenty of fish in a nice crispy batter, and plenty of chips that were not greasy. The staff were friendly, generally a very good experience.

Bought cod and chips to take to the harbour as sun was shining. Well cooked and delicious. Nice size portion. Batter and chips just the right amount of crispness. Friendly staff too
