Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Exceptional service by amazing staff! Stopped in on a very hot and busy day, however I could not fault the service or the food at all! Everything was fantastic! The owners should be very proud of the efficiency and politeness of everyone working! We will...definitely be recommending to our friends and be returning 😌More

I cannot praise the staff enough. They worked so hard, were extremely attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. We sat outside with our dog. My husband had a full Welsh breakfast that he thoroughly enjoyed. I had double egg, chips, peas,...onion rings and bread and butter. Other than the bread not being buttered to the edges, it was lovely. We ordered a pot of tea for two, which arrived first. We had to wait for the food but received several apologies as they were very busy (confirmed) and short staffed. It was worth the wait. All reasonably priced. Spotlessly clean. Two massive umbrellas covered all the outside tables in case of rain. We won't hesitate to go again next time in Llangollen.More

Only yards from the Llangollen Bridge on Castle Street and a great location, we had tea cakes and coffee outside in the sunshine. It was very pleasant, with nice friendly service and a good menu, I could have stayed there a lot longer. The cottage...itself is very cosy and has tables indoors. Dogs are allowed but only outside.More

Positives - Staff friendly, welcome dogs, nice setting Unfortunately the food it self was disappointing. - soft burger bun not brioche as advertised (ironic when the menu makes a point of the cafe not allowing substitute items) - no butter on burgers of pannini -...no salad or cheese on the burgers - chips nice but cold The food in the pub two doors down that we went next looked much better. We may have been on a bad day but I wouldn’t go back and certainly don’t think it was worth the money paid.More

Super cute, cozy and quaint place to enjoy delicious food with the family. Icing on the cake was the kind and attentive staff who went the extra mile to make the 5 of us, including our 3 young kids, feel super welcome. They were so...accommodating and we’ll be back! Thank you.More

We had the pleasure of eating here on our trip to llangollen. The food was really tasty and came out piping hot. My husband decided to try a piece of lemon drizzle cake, its his favourite and he said it was the best he has ever...tasted. We were served by two young men who were really polite and also efficient. We will definitely return on our next visit to llangollenMore

Popped in for a bite to eat a bit disappointed as the food came out first then the drinks about 15mins after. Food is lovely and a small menu with not much on it. Situated in Llangollen town grade listed building all decorated really well.

The food is ok. Ambience inside isn’t great but I imagine on a nice day sitting outside would be very pleasant. Unfortunately service was not good. Lots of tables presuming they had to go up to order as the table service was so slow, lots...of chasing up bills which never came so had to go up anyway. Wouldn’t rush back. Dee Side cafe around the corner has better service and better value.More

Lovely little place with the most friendly staff. Came today for some lunch and had our cockapoo puppy who we are trying to get used to different environments with us. The place is very dog friendly and we were even offered some water for her....We had a full breakfast and a sandwich, both of which were delicious and fresh. Would recommend to anyone. This place looks like it gets very busy and you can see why as it's great!More
