Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have visited here previously and were very pleased that the change of owners have still kept the same high standards. The place is spotless and there is a large outside dining area. The staff are attentive and welcoming. The menu is good and varied...with a great choice of hot and cold dishes. We were a party of 4 and we all chose different items and we all enjoyed our meals. We definitely recommend you try this lovely cafe.More

Absolutely lovely tea room! Friendly and kind waiters, with incredibly fast service. Excellent food - we had scampi, tea cakes, panini and soup of the day. Gluten free options were a great bonus especially the gluten free carrot cake! All enjoyed outside with our little...pooch (dog friendly place) in the rare sunshine! Definitely recommend.More

Called in at the halfway point of our bike ride from Chirk along the canal. Service was very quick and friendly. Our order was taken quickly and the food (2 delicious steak and onion panini) was delivered in short order. The salad was fresh, the...portions excellent, the cider cold, overall a very enjoyable experience.More

We stopped here for a snack. Hubby had a sausage bap. I chose the bara brith, which I thought expensive at £3.75. Coffee very average. Great location on the bridge. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Just stopped for coffee. The staff were exceptional in attendance with a table of elderly ladies. All members of staff were respectful, kind and spent time with customers even though they were busy. I would give them 5 stars

As we were having a day in Llangollen, we stopped here for breakfast for starting our walk. We ordered beans on toast and a vegetarian breakfast. The tea was leaf tea and lovely, while my daughter had a cappuccino, which again was lovely. The breakfast...was very, very good, especially the veggie sausages. You could actually taste the individual vegs in them. Service was excellent, and the tearoom itself was traditional, comfy, and spotless. Well worth a visit.More
